Hi. This is usually a fix for other codes that show up on this model, ie B1037, B103B and B1039, (stating high resistance on diagnostic tool) Mine was a B1037 fault showing up as right side airbag, I would also recommend that both sides are done., the same fitting is located on the other side., this will save any future problems., Plus a reset tool will be needed to removed the SRS light. @bsmobilecz the errors with resistance to high means that an electrical connector is faulty. Best remove it and replace it with another one or solder wires directly and then put a heat shrink tube to insulate. On the errors where you have low voltage you need to check battery output...and alternator output.

@bsmobilecz battery and alternator output needs to be checked. Battery should have with engine off over 12.4V... minimum 12.0V. With engine on, alternator charge should be minimum 13.4V and maximum 14.5V. Again, where resistance is to high you either remove and install new electrical connector or solder wires directly. Hi. In your case try to check integrity of wiring and electrical connectors going to the passenger seat. If that doesn't work than most likely the sensor within the seat is faulty. What is the manufacturing year of your vehicle? What is the error code on the scanner? Is your alternator charging well enough? Proper charge is around (13.4-14.4V). Is your battery in good health state? At least 12V with engine turned off.

there might be the case where you can find an elm32 and get cheap android obd2 via bluetooth to scan and delete codes. First of all airbag cannot be faulty. Airbag is textile part. The inflator is connected to electrical loom. Electrical loom deteriorates over time. You first need to scan for error and see exact which of the airbags is giving you error. If your C Class is 2001-2004 it is either left or right side curtain airbag, but it can well be left side or right side door mounted airbags. If your C Class is 2004-2006 then it can also be the weight sensor in passenger seat which causes SRS error. Please do check with OBD2 Diagnostic tool for errors and only afterwards proceed to fix physical electrical problem.
And also how many liters of oil with filter trica? Manual says 8L, but says too much oil and asks to remove 1L, with 7.3L it is fine without accusing anything on the panel... Have you had this experience with W203 C-Class C320 Elegance V6 3.2L M112 2001?

R12/14 is referring to steering wheel squib. Basically you have to go to an electrician and check if Mercedes provides a repair solution for the electrical connector which connects directly to the steering wheel. It needs to be changed as it might not make good electrical contact.

So why in the world would you just cut the plug out and then solder the wires back together? Why wouldn’t you just fix the plugs make it so that it has a good connection again I’m not understanding why you’re going so far is to cut the wires in the plug out and then strip the wires down and started them together. Makes no sense to me just fix the plug. What are you doing to the system by taking the plug out? I don’t understand you’re confusing me with this whole thing.
You can remove the old plug and install a new plug in. I eliminated the plug and soldered the wires together to avoid the fault coming on again due to humidity or lack of a good electrical contact. Those electrical connectors are not the best in the world. Hope it now makes sense.
Hi I have a SRS light on my C200 Kompressor and wondering if you know if I have a similar issue with the wires, it's been diagnosed on a BOSCH machine and has 2 error codes, first is B2D92 and it says Unknown Fault, second is B107B and says Instrument Cluster: CAN Signal Missing. Buenas magnifico video le explico. Le cambiado la puerta que estaba abollada de mi mercedes la del desguace mismo modelo color año y referencia de airbas igual pero el macho de la puerta de la nueva de airbas es diferente la clavija he cortado la clavija macho de la de antes cortado los dos cables de la nueva y adactado la clavija enpalmando los 2 cables a esa clavija y bien de hecho .he enchufado a la hembra total al poner la bateria tirar al contacto arrancando me ha salido fallo srs en rojo es por que lo tengo que reprogramar con diagnosis? He empalmado mal los cables o clavija? Es por que al poner otro airbas hay que reprogramarlo o esta roto ? tengo que poner el de la puerta antigua? Que podria ser la clavija se ha podido desprender de los contactos como usted dice, vuelvo a revisar . Podria quitar el fallo o lo llevo al taller a que lo reseten no soy mecanico soy manitas que arias??? Después de instalar una nueva bolsa de aire, incluso si proviene del desguace, debe colocar la herramienta de diagnóstico obd 2 y restablecer los errores. Si los errores no se restablecen, cometió un error al realizar los cables. saludos y gracias por tomarte el tiempo de comentar

The error is on different airbag. Can you show me error description? It's simple, you find out which airbag creates the error, then go to electrical connector. @Viks b1027 error code is for R12/14 component which is steering wheel driver airbag. You can buy a used airbag from breakers yard and replace it and the check for error again(delete error and rescan). If this works then your problem is solved. If not, then the the rotating squib wiring harness is faulty (this is on the steering column just behind the steering wheel).

Hello. Yes, connectors are problematic. This b1035 is mainly happening on the w203 non facelift. Once you eliminate the connector and make a direct connection you just have to reconnect the battery, remove error codes with a diagnostic tool and all should be working without any errors. O poți găsi pe usita de vizitare a panoului de siguranțe din habitaclul mașinii, mai precis, cum stai la volan, deschizi ușa de la sofer, scoți capacul de pe lateralul bordului și în suport pe capac trebuie sa fie schema împăturita. Dacă îți lipsește o poți comanda de la orice magazin de piese auto după codul A2035450200. Bafta
What do you mean? System is active and working. Fault is gone. Remove the electrical connector, solder the wires together, delete error with diagnostic tool via OBD II port, job done!
Salut. Este problema de conectare a mufelor. Sistemul este cu comunicare pe canbus. Dacă un contact este imperfect atunci apare aceasta eroare. Fa o scanare și vezi care airbag iti este afectat. În video am eliminat o mufa și am legat firele direct între ele. Am șters eroarea cu o diagnoza delphi și m-am scăpat de notificarea srs din bord. Stima.
My c220 will not start lately, the battery is new, everything lights up in the dash but the starter will not crank :( I also get the same error in the dash, could it be the same error or do you think it could be the breaklight switch? I have ordered a obd2 scanner but could it be a quick fix like this?
Stormer324 check the fuse box for blown fuse which is designated for the starter motor. Srs is for airbags and has nothing to do with engine starting or brake system!!!

Hi Emmanuel. CAN Bus is a generic term. CAN Bus means Controller Area Network. The BUS stands for means of transportation for transmitted data. Development of the CAN bus started in 1983 at Robert Bosch Gmbh. The protocol was officially released in 1986 at the SAE conference in Detroit, Michigan. This means that you don't have only 1 Can bus on your car. So in order to help me out please tell me the error code which you got from the scan tool.
SRS actually means - supplemental restraint system. It can mean a lot of things. My SRS error light was refering to driver door airbag having faulty connection in plastic clip connectors.

Good video! It helped me quickly identify the location of the problematic connector. I didn't cut the connector, I just cleaned and tightened it better. If the problem repeats itself over time, I will solder the wires. PS. It is not mandatory to remove the door seal.

Just brought a 2003 mercades c240 This error is on my dash I see that this is the problem? I know for a fact that my motor and transmission is good Could this cause the check engine light to turn on also?

The SRS is strictly refering to airbag safety systems. It has nothing to do with the engine. If your engine light comes on you should do a scan with Xentry/Star MB Diagnostic Tool or any OBD scanner and search for the given error codes. In most cases cause of engine check light can be a faulty Lambda Sensor, or a MAF sensor.

SeRo Lunarrosa din pacate nu te pot ajuta fara un cod specific de eroare. Recomandat sa scanezi cu diagnoza star si nu cu una generica. Heater boosterul e preîncălzitorul de bloc motor. Srs este defectiune de airbag sau contact imperfect la vreo mufa sau cantarul din scaun fie cel de șofer fie cel de pasager. Acest din urma defect e specific la w203 facelift.

Hi! Not being there surely doesn't help me to provide you with a fair answer. Do a scan with a diagnostic tool and check for errors. Tell me what is the error code. Be mindful, if you did this like I've shown in the video you need to connect a diagnostic system, scan for errors and erase errors. Yeah, thanks for your response and concerns. I tried to erase the error but was impossible as it showed error is permanent. THE DIAGNOSE SHOWS: ( RESISTANT OF THE DRIVER’S DOOR AIRBAG HIGH. ) My observation is that maybe there is another connector after this one you showed on your video before the central airbag that is malfunctioning because current did not get to this point you displayed on your video because I changed the door airbag too.
@@nero73357 hi! you need to search for connector responsible for the door airbag. Try and trace the electrical wires which come from the door and go into the main electrical loom. You can also change the electrical connectors if you have possibility to do so with brand new ones. If you have changed the door airbag and put a new one in then you need to reset the crash sensor data. Which is a totally different problem.
@@nero73357 you need to find it. I really don't know where it is. Take the door card off, trace the electrical wires from the door airbag and see where it goes into the car.

Salut! Nu, urmareste videoul si vei observa ca pt stergerea erorrii este nevoie de o diagnoza care sa citeasca si sa stearga codul de eroare. Daca reparatia este facuta corect, dupa ce se sterge eroarea din diagnoza, nu o sa mai fie probleme.

Daca e non facelift eroarea de SRS poate sa-ti vina de la airbag cortina stanga, airbag cortina dreapta, airbag din usa stanga sau din usa dreapta (ambele pe fata). Mai sunt W203-uri ceva mai echipate care au airbag-uri si pe usile din spate. Daca ai un cod de eroare pe diagnoza vei putea vedea in descriere de pe care airbag vine.
am aceiasi problema la un c kompressor din 2004 , am facut procedura doar la conectorul din pragul din stanga , am eroarea R12/20 , dupa ce am sters codul SRS si am pornit din nou - face din nou aceiasi problema, Am de asemenea un tacanit ce vine din zona bordului ca si cum ar fi un acuator sau compresor etc...care continua timp de 2 minute - chiar daca opresc motorul si scot cheia din contact,....Orice sugestie apreciez mult!
Despre eroarea de airbag îmi trebuie codul și descrierea exacta a erorii ca să te pot ajuta. Tot la scanare o sa iti dea un cod de eroare pt tacanitul din bord. E vorba de motorașul sau motorașele electrice care închid și deschid fluxul de aer de la aeroterma din habitaclu. Ca sa remediezi aceasta problema trebuie să dai jos tot bordul.
@@AlexAndreiZAR nu am alta eroare cand scanez ce ar fi legat de motorasul din bord precum spui (credeam ca sunetul are legatura cu airbagul) ...dar problema cu SRS-ul a venit simultan cu tacanitul din bord care dispare dupa 2 minute ( fie motorul pornit sau oprit- si tacanitul apare imediat ce pornesc masina - )
Astea sant erorile ce le-am scanat : R12/20(left front side airbag ignition squib) si R12/11(Left rear side airbag ignition squib >ambele au > unknown status si R12/1 (driver ETR ignition squib )> unknown status si R12/6 (left rear ETR ignition squib) > Resistance too large ,
Hendy Rukman my logic would say it would be on opposite side. Basically to be sure you can do both sides. There are connectors on both sides. Then after you do it you just have to delete error with diagnostic tool.
Похоже, что с начала вам необходимо произвести диагностику прибором который способен читать банк с ошибками SRS!!! При помощи такого прибора можно попробовать стереть ошибку из банка и узнать в какой конкретно зоне именно в вашем случае, случилась данная ошибка. Я слышал истории, когда такая ошибка выпадала в следствии того, что автомобиль где-то хорошо был подмочен, но после того как его должным образом просушили, оставалось, опять таки - удалить ошибку из банка. На сколько я верно понял, в данном ролике причиной являлось физическое отсутствие контакта в штекере подушки левой двери и возможно кстати тоже - в следствии попадания некогда туда воды. Человек, срезал штекер, зачистил изоляцию, скрутил провода как было по цвету, пролудил оловом, одел 2 термоусадочные трубки. - Он устранил причину! Теперь ему останется подключить вышеупомянутый прибор, чтобы удалить ошибку из SRS банка.
