in fact, due to the built-in constraints in the contract Northrop signed with the DoD, they anticipate losing money on the first production run, so it'll definitely be under budget. Eventually, it will be a money maker.
its actually been insane. US is so far ahead on material science, physics and technology they are the only country to mass produce stealth planes, f-35, f-22, b-21, x-47 drone, valkerie, and now b-21 is coming into production after only 8 years since the idea of it
@@bigt666537 of 44 technologies in science, technology, and defense are led by China by a report conducted by Australia. The top 4 and 5 in the placements are literally 0. I wouldn’t say they are too ahead.
And you’d be wrong. 0001 is the first one to have engines installed. Plant 42 at Palmdale is more closely surveilled than most American military bases here or abroad. DOD has been pretty transparent about the plans and status for this particular program. It’s as effective a deterrent in most cases as the bombs it’s meant to drop. So no…this was the B-21s first flight. There are plenty of other programs and platforms that have been flown at TRR and other locations. The RQ-180 would be a good example, and helpful as the B-21 is very closely related to that particular aircraft.
That is painfully naïve. Not only can I guarantee the B-21 has flown before, I guarantee this isn't the first one (it's only serial number one). I'm sure there are a handful of test articles sitting out at Groom Lake. This isn't the 1950s anymore, a public failure of an airframe that that the USAF brass is so invested in is not an option. This flight was a press event. Lockheed will say the same thing about NGAD when we see it at Skunkworks in a few years. We all know its prototype is out there right now. @@FloridaManMatty
@@nicolepham3836 No they really do test them for many years. In the sky. Also wind tunnel test them. That's what Area 51 is for. I'm pretty sure the B21 Raider is the original Auroa project. Which has been in development for a very very long time. They don't just test and build these things in a few months
What were those things flying the opposite way ??? If you blink you miss it......not 1 for conspiracy......but I paused on the last shiny thing going the opposite direction and it looked like .....well. .....just go see for yourself😮
@@N_Richd1overtaken US engineering? You sure? Their navy is literally consistent of coast guard boats and up armed coast guard boats, they have one stealth jet, the J20, which is literally made from copied American stealth planes, they barely have any pilots for aircraft carrier operations, let alone an actually capable aircraft carrier.
the B-3 Spirit, or more formally known as the B-21 Raider, is a next-generation stealth bomber under development by the United States Air Force. The B-21 Raider is intended to be a long-range strategic bomber capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional weapons. As of that time, detailed specifications and features of the B-21 Raider were not fully disclosed due to the sensitive nature of the project. The aircraft is being developed by Northrop Grumman, and it aims to be a successor to the B-2 Spirit bomber. For the latest and most accurate information on the B-21 Raider, I recommend checking official U.S. Air Force announcements or Northrop Grumman's updates, as
I lived in southern Missour for a while and saw the b2 spirits come and go from Whiteman Airforce base. All the time while put on the lake The b2 approach is actually pretty quiet, but after they get ovwr they are extremely loud
It's a cheaper version that's much more usable. B2 is like a Ferrari that you can drive once a week. The b21 is cheap like a mustang and you can fly every day.
Look at that thing... Completely out of this world! That's why I believe all those military people coming out saying the US has captured space ships. There's no way! That somebody in the 60s grabbed a ruler and a pencil a Texas Instrument calculator and designed these things.
When uncle Tyke redesigned the Patriot waveguide to get them to Israel for their first use as anti-missile he used pencil, paper, slide-rule. Plus a big brain and years of experimenting at National Bureau of Standards, now NIST.
It's definitely magnificent, the crazy thing is, is that this style of aircraft was conceptualized as early as WWII, or maybe even before. Aviation progresses so quickly
the thing that makes me believe US has better is this b-21 raider only took 8 years and it was below budget... they must have some insane material scientists, this also makes me super patriotic even as a englishman
To me it looks like it's just the natural light but make sense that it might do something like this as a very last line of defense. . From my extremely limited knowledge I'd guess that if an enemy pilot can spot it in visual range it wouldn't be hard to catch. I would think that an airframe shaped like the B-21's is going to have much luck trying out maneuver a halfway decent 4th gen fighter jet. A couple burst from the cannon might ruin some plans.
@@charleskoth4425 My best guess is that the new coating that absorbs radar also absorbs light. The old stealth coatings didn’t last long and had to be reapplied. This one is supposed to have a new one that last longer. But what do I know. It looks cool though.
Actually the Aurora end the tr3b Manta has been documented in an article I've seen recently to be a true thing and it is going up in the competition with the dark Star Plus a few other aircraft to be the fastest aircraft on the planet and overtake the blackbirds longest running world record
