Don't worry haha, B.A.P's members are actually very peaceful boys, they do a lot of charitiy, promote helping people in need, the leader fosters children etc etc. With this, they're not promoting violence, they have had an MV similar to this one before (it's called One Shot), with guns and gangs, and it's been explained about One Shot that they wanted to show that if you get yourself mingled with shady people, gangs, and the underground in general, you are going to face a lot of pain in your life even if you might not be an evil person at heart. So you should always make your choices carefully, because with some things you only have one chance, don't throw away your life for such a dark path. That was basically the meaning behind One Shot. About Skydive, i saw the guns & violence as only props, while the story itself revolves around trust and distrust, greed, mercilessness, group dynamics... You can see how instable the friendship between the gang members is through various hints (direct hints like two of them stealing money, one of them being a crazy psycho which is obviously something the gang leader disapproves of, and also metaphorical hints like in the poker game). And how the distrust in the lead character builds up with time, ending up in suspicion about every single member of his own group. There's a lot of details and nuances to this MV that are naturally overseen when you first watch it, i myself find something new i overlooked with everytime i watch this MV. Maybe watch the MV again with these things in mind and you might enjoy it even more. :) Because there really is more to it than I have just summarized. That being said, thank you for your reaction and your open-mindedness. I enjoyed watching your video. :)
The member in the bulletproof vest basically betrayed them all in the end. He set up the kidnapping and murder of Daehyun's girlfriend and in the end set the entire group up in order to keep all the money from their jobs. Also as a side note Daehyun doesn't shoot himself, Jongup points the gun at his head. Check out BAP - One Shot! It's a MV from 2013 that is somewhat similar to this one though this MV (Skydive) was in my opinion the better of the two! You can definitely see the growth in this group
B.A.P was pretty big in 2012 when they just debuted even though they are from a small company, they even went neck on neck with EXO back then. But they experimented with various genres and it's hard to keep fans that way, and to top it all they sued their company. I know they are not big in Korea right now but...IDK, hopefully they regain that back hahaha
DKDKTV I was not kidding when I said they experimented a lot -- they have songs probably in most mainstream genres. You can just pick according to your taste of music LOL
Daisy If you see the translations on the papers Daehyun recieves it's really easy to understand. (he needs to do those thing in order to get his girl back) The papers (somewhat) translated: 1 Adress (here he gets threatened) 2 Kill the informer (he kills the guy in the car) 3 Just photos (because he recieved them inside their place he starts suspecting one of the other members, you can see him look at everyone and all their wrongdoings/ ext.) 4 Kill Himchan (he follows himchan but himachan unarms him, he failed) 5 Adress (here he finds his girl in the trash because he failed to kill himchan) 6 GAME OVER (because he failed) The shooting scene is to show who betrayed him/them further more it's not too relevant to the story I hope this explains it!
tbh tho, I've watched several reaction vids and only a very few actually got the story. I didn't even catch what the written stuff meant the first time i watched it and I got it right away. I guess most reaction videos are too focused on "reacting" than actually trying to understand the video.

Basically, the main character who keeps getting secret messages from this 'silhouette', has a person who was held hostage and killed. Along with the pictures given to him, it is believed that there was a finger inside the box in which he was to scared and angry to even open or see it. The other people are basically his 'friends' in a gang who live off of stolen money. They are most likely very wanted criminals with a rich lifestyle from getting so much money in the storyline. The main character feels conflicted in his gang especially when he is depressed about this girl being killed- maybe a possible girlfriend, niece or sibling. He feels more distant and also questions his ways in life. At some point in the story, they all get caught, leaving them to fend for themselves. The plot twist is the fact that one of the members was a undercover cop. The main character who was fatally bleeding in the end thought of him as a comrade and handed him the gun to stay alive or he was asking him to shoot him as a suicide because he was depressed about the girl. Either way, the undercover cop shot him and showed a visible bulletproof vest. I personally don't believe a cop would shoot someone they would need for an investigation of some sort, ESPECIALLY if the criminal was in fatal condition. But that is what the M/V perceives to be.

They're not all shooting videos. only like 4 others have gun stuff. And out of those 4 only 2 of them involve the members having guns and shooting each other and or themselves. And 1 of them is like a implied gun and the other is just other people with guns.
From what I got... they are all kill for a living and the main guy (Daehyun)'s girlfriend/friend?/sister? (not sure) gets kidnapped when she leaves him at the bar and that's where the first note comes in because she got abused on the way to the bathroom/kidnapped? He spills alcohol on the paper which reveals that he has to find her within a given time. He then gets the other pictures where it shows that the girl's arm is mutilated but gives you a clue to who did it (cough cough). From seeing that and not knowing who did that to his bae, he gets drunk and his friend tries to snap him out of it and thus he ends up on the couch with another set of pictures. Which tells him that it was someone from his crew that did it. The flashback is from him trying to figure out who did it out of everyone. He slowly believes it is Himchan (which is why he follows him in the alleyway) only to find out that he is also trying to find the killer. That's when Daehyun falls on the ground because his time is up and he gets the correct address only to find his bae's body ;-; Now that we reach D-Day, they see the SWAT team and then all the shooting happens and that's when Daehyun notices Himchan wanted to help him and slowly but surely you find out that the true mastermind was Jongup *the one with the bulletproof vest* I tried to summarize it but... for a 10 minute mv... this is the best I can do LOL hope it helps you understand.. *I did skip out on certain parts so I didn't make this really long*
They were on the same level as EXO when they both debuted (constant fanwars for who would win Rookie of the Year) and they were getting a lot of public recognition up until 1004, but then they went on hiatus for 1 year and a half when all the members filed lawsuits against TS
From what I understand, the poker table shows is symbolizing that the internal struggle in their gang... Like they're betting everything, but poker is about playing smart and keeping your cards hidden from the others.... So the last guy with blue hair played his card the way that he kidnapped and killed the main person's girlfriend... Making him doubt the others in the gang, so he told him to kill Himchan, so Himchan would have to take the blame.... You can also see the guy burning their profiles, those profiles would lead the main person to the guy who killed his girlfriend, but they were burned... Also in the begining you can see their love for money in the begining, so the whole thing was like a gmae of poker... Even if it wasn't that blue haired guy who did it, someone else would've done something to get all their money
we can skydive free fall means like they are brave or be able to do anything they want without being scared of anything...The lyrics is deep..If you are all korean then why cant you all understand the lyrics better than us...

keep in mind too that although they are Korean, they are recently listening to kpop, therefore probably aren't aware of the slight competition(?) between BTS & B.A.P fans, and the history of B.A.P fans migrating to BTS during B.A.P's hiatus.... so they might not realize it can be touchy referring to BTS in a B.A.P M/V:)
Basically, the main protagonist started receiving threats, where he keeps finding pictures of his girlfriend being tortured. He sets out to find the the bad guy, the one threatening him. Along his search, he starts to distrust all the other members of their mercenary gang. But this is actually him being set up by the bad guy (the one alive at the end of the MV). In the end, the traitor of the gang had set them all up so he could get all the money. [At least, that's what I understood]
check out one shot !! I think daehyun ( the assassin ) was threatened into killing because someone kidnapped his girlfriend. Yongguk the leader is taking a break :(

As many people have already suggested, you should check their MV for One Shot!!! Other songs that I think you could check are Warrior (debut song), 1004 and Young, Wild & Free. And if you'd like to check another style on them, you should definitely give Feel So Good a try. B.A.P are so great ^_^

Sorry for the long comment it's just that B.A.P are my favourite group and they're really underrated in Korea! They lost a lot of their popularity after they filed a lawsuit against their company and went away for a year! Why you guys compared them with BTS? & really u dont even know bout B.A.P? 한국 사람인데 이 대박나는 비에이피 왜 몰라요? ㅎㅎㅎ in my opinion B.A.P is the best idol/boygroup from korea. Cause they has create something that no group has been able to replicate. B.A.P always cares & talks about every injustice that they do. B.A.P always have the most meaningful mv's & lirycs. Listen the other song. Ribbon In The Sky (after the tragedy of Sewol happened) & wake me up (this song about someone who got depressed / anxiety illness. I immediately though of this song & how society continous overlook mental health) if u have much time, listen their song & they will not disappointed you 😊
From all the reaction videos I've watched about B.A.P's Skydive, this is the worse one tbh. Everyone I've watched already got the gist of the story, even if they're a fan or not. Jesus.
The story is pretty obvious but maybe because you weren't really focused on the mv in the beginning you got confused. I'm pretty sure if you watch it again and focused in the beginning you'll understand it easily.

first B.A.P stands for best absolute perfect. about the video its about daehyun (the main character) who os a part of a gang and his girlfriend gets kidnapped so he tries to save her.. when he goes to the address he gets a finger with the pictures.. and the gets drunk and when he wakes up he finds a picture of her in his hand and figures its someone from his gang. about the flashbacks he remembers every wrong doing to try and figure out whos got his girlfriend.then he gets a note to follow himchan and he does but they send him an address when he gets there he finds her body. he got to where their operatin and helps them out and in the end its jongup(the guy who killed him) who played them all. thanks for supporting my bias group 😍😍😍

This is my first time watching a bap MV. It's very interesting and thanks for introducing me to them. My interpretation: Daehyun (main guy) was undercover cop in the gang who has gone deep into the dark. Jongup (tattoed guy) knows about Daehyun identity and he decides to play with him. Jongup has lots of greeds, envy with Himchan's (Star Trek guy) power in the gang, so he use Daehyun to kill Himchan. Daehyun failed to kill Himchan, Jongup decides to kill the girl and sold the team to the cop. In the end, only Jongup and his greed survived. - That Star Trek guy (Himchan), during early debut year, articles came out, saying Himchan & TOP are long lost brother. Soompi wrote: On December 12, a Malaysian fan uploaded the said picture on his or her personal twitter of the two idol stars. The picture combines half of Him Chan’s face with T.O.P’s face, although random, came out surprisingly well. One can mistaken the photoshopped picture as one person if they don’t look close enough. They have gone through hiatus for a while ( filed lawsuit due to slave contract) and lots of fans left and they prefer group that have similiar concept with BAP during that time. - They make their own music, after hiatus they've got lots of chance to particiapte in their album making, most of their music is produced by their leader Bang Yongguk with inspiring lyrics. Yeah they seem to have a huge international fanbase we've noticed. Unfortunate that they had to go through all that stuff, but this MV really intrigued us... though some fans were mad that we couldn't get the story lol. We look forward to more BAP in the future!
