this is truly amazing! very lyrical performing, very high level articulations, great sound throughout the whole piece, high and low register sounded so full and beautiful!! all i can say is that this the best and my favorite version since this piece came out. and im sure every true musician would have agree with me! bravo!! congratulations!!!
if anyone thinks the bone is NOT the hardest and the best instrument should have their head examined. that is all of us boners need not apply to that. this is awesome playing.....what a weapon!
I'm attempting to play this for a solo & ensemble competition. Started learning this piece in my spare time as a sophomore in highschool and let me tell you it is not easy. My director said no and I said yes because this is a solo you can't so no to once you hear it. I'm able to play through the whole solo after a couple of months of practice but oh do I have some steps to climb before it starts to sounds good.
Absolutely beautiful playing! Bravo! May l just suggest in the respectful spirit of one player to another that it might be beneficial to your stage presence to find a better time filler in between entrances than emptying your spit valve multiple times. I say this because l have also been a victim to this habit and it is unsightly. I still catch myself doing it on occasion, so trust me when l say l am not judging here at all. I think the best way to get past this is to replace it with another habit. Whether it's tapping your toe inside your shoe or watching the accompanist, or nodding to the beat, or whatever. It's easier and better to just find another habit than to concentrate on not doing something. Loved your performances here, and am subscribing to hear more.
