U know back in the day, if there was someone competing from your same crew and you were a judge (judges in this case), we used to sub out those judges during that battle so there wasn’t any bias. But hey it’s redbull 🤷‍♂️

This looks like the Japan cypher in 2017. A questionable win for someone from Flooriorz, and then he was eliminated right in the round of 16. If Nicholas can somehow pull it off and get further in the last chance cypher then good for him, but I won't be surprised if history repeats itself again.

They're regional qualifiers. Maybe the man lives in Japan now. It's not exactly a country representation thing, since the European events have literally dozens of countries show up. Same thing with African and South-American cyphers. End of the day, Japan has plenty of strong bboys (legends abound), but we just want to see the best dancers. And frankly, it's weird that you think your racism (only Asian bboys can win the Japanese cypher) is the opposite of bias. I mean, if it was corrupt, wouldn't they just vote for their friend? For the record, I think both were dope, but Gen Roc was more detailed and interesting to me.
