Hi. I own a Raymarine EV autopilot. I'm now planning to renew my navigation instruments and Triton2 seems to me a good choice, especially because of the wind function that seems to be very intuitive. Can both (Raymarine autopilot and B&G Triton2) work together in a NMEA2000 network? I mean, could I set the wind pilot function of the EV with the information given by Triton2? Would they both listen one to each other? Many thanks in advance
Hello, it is a better choice to use all instruments from one manufacturer. If you need to mix, then: Triton Wind data is normally accepted by Raymarine, but the EV pilot will not accept pilot steering (auto/standby/+/-) from the Triton2 display. So the Triton2 can not command the Raymarine pilot!
@@BusseYachtshop many thanks for your swift and clear answer. The Raymarine i70s pack (wind, depth and speed) is maybe a better choice. Just one more question. My current electronic equipment includes a Raymarine E120 classic connected to a 4kw analogic radome. Would it be possible to see the radar image in my new Axiom+ from the E120? Do I need any especial cable or device? Many thanks once again. Your comments are very appreciated
Wenn man das Display abschaltet bzw. den Strom abschaltet, kommt es dann beim einschalten mit der letzte gewählten Anzeige wieder, oder muss man erst wieder auswählen ?
