B'ham Metro Tornado Damage Aerials Part 1 

The first minute and a half of the video is the Concord area ... after that, it gets into Pleasant Grove. The road that they fly over at about 16-17 seconds in is Warrior River Road ... the building shown at the 18-19 second mark is Concord Highlands Baptist Church and their family life center.

It really breaks my heart to see all this. I lived in concord for 6 years and it is so shocking to see it now. This is the worst sight ever, stay strong bama.

This is just heartbreaking.

Looking at Google maps, this looks like the Pleasant Grove area, headed over to the water treatment plant.

At 5:53 what look like tanker cars (maybe dry storage/grain cars?) blown off the track ... BTW - thank you for posting these videos.

The second part is called Pratt City/Fultondale Aerials

At 1 minute to about 1:05 minutes it is passing over my friends childhood home, or whats left of it. His brother lives their now and barely escaped with his life.

7:38 mark is coming across Hwy 269. 8:00 mark is crossing Adamsville Ensley Rd. (Minor Pkwy). You can use Goggle maps and backtrack from there.

Of all the devastation pictured here, the most menacing is that according to the title this is only "Part 1."

what scares me is that if u think about it, on the news it said there are still around 300 missing in Birmingham, and odds are that even tho u dont know it, this camera probably just went over about 30 :( i feel so helpless, godbless alabama! From Kentuckyian

This is not City of Birmingham, but more like Concord, Pleasant Grove, McDonald Chapel to Minor Parkway 4-6 miles southwest of Birmingham.

starting at 1:57 you can really see how powerful that things was and how wide the base was

Does anyone know if Hueytown (near the ballfield/Zinnia Dr.) was hit by the tornado?
