@@Bluckycarboothunting It's crazy isn't it, and the lenses (as you know) were all poor quality. In the interests of positivity there are still bargains still to be found at the car boots which is the thrill that drives us to go. On the other hand gone are the days where you could fill your boot with great stuff (well, at my car boots anyway), I like eBay but with that and Google lens it is too easy now just to look stuff up. I wouldn't want to buy/sell for a living with a mortgage etc now. All the best in your hunt though! 30 subscribers to go!! ;)
The reason Sadler's is shit for me it's because the sellers set up before the buyers are allowed in. Most sellers are traders, and once they set up, they roam around other sellers and get the good stuff before the buyers get in. We only end up with crumbles, really. More of a miss than a hit.
Yes but all carboots do it unless it’s forecast rain then they want you all in early the fairest one I go to is elms court sellers and buyers in but you can’t set up until 11am claxton goes off
Agree Louie, obviously as you know you could just go in and leave your car unpacked and just walk around but I understand what a pain that would be. I go to two car boots, one you pay to go in early (which isn't great as it it is expensive and there are loads of people in the queue) and the other they do actively stop the sellers from buying before the car boot starts (but then it is a melee when everyone goes in at the same time).
