How long does that fuel cell last when it’s full? I love this kind of racing. It never gets old. Funny how 1000hp GTR and supras don’t do it for me anymore.

I know everybody does the b series or k series swaps in these cars but I have a 95 coupe and if you wanted to make it a little more fun for cheap if you at least did the ex model swap with the d16 z6 or d16 y8 if your running the d16y7 non VTEC 1.6 sorry I haven't watched the full video yet it's still a single overhead cam so of course it's not going to be really fast like doing a dual cam swap but then you'd at least have VTEC which is better than the crappy non VTEC single cams I know yours is y7 or Y8 like I said haven't watched the full video yet but still and just with cold air intake a true cold air intake not the short ram you have headers full exhaust skunk2 intake manifold skunk2 70 mil throttle body some p29 high comp Pistons maybe throw a stage 2 or 3 cam springs retainers valves are in it you can actually make the little single cam VTEC motors quite fun for a lot cheaper than obviously getting a b series or k series swap I built the 1.6 d16 z6 and I have fun pissed off my buddies with their dual cam swaps with bolts all the time it's built all motor high compression everybody can build a dual Cam and make it fast but it's fun being the underdog with a built single cam because nobody likes to spend money on those or expect them to be quick and if you put the money in the right places they can be fairly quick for pretty cheap just an idea if you guys still have these cars obviously if you're actually going for true power and speed throw a b series and build it or a k-series and build it but if you want to have a little bit more fun for cheap just get a d16 z6 and then make sure you get a d16 z6 transmission or a d16 Y8 transmission out of the 96 to 2000 EX or si depending on your country and those transmissions have shorter gears stock Red line will be $7,000 but if you build it all motor with some high comp Pistons springs retainers valves cam you can bump the red line up to 8,000 or more like a dual cam I don't know man everybody builds the dual cam so I had fun building an all motor single cam as long as it's the single VTEC you can have some fun with them!!! if you are going to keep it single cam make sure you do the d16 z6 or d16y8 transmission for shorter gears do a true cold air intake headers exhaust skunk2 intake manifold throttle body and you can still have more fun even just intake headers exhaust with the shorter geared transmission on that if yours is a d16y7 instead of the D16Y8 it will help it significantly but adding the VTEC head if you have a y7 non VTEC will at least give you a little more power without having to spend the money for a dual cam swap if you want to just have fun and you're not serious about being super fast I think that would be your best bet for the budget you have considering the price of b series in case series are going up you'll have obviously more power with a dual cam but I'm telling you right now if you just build a d16z6 or d16y8 out of the ex model of that same generation 92-95 Civic or 96-00 do the springs valves retainers Pistons rods bearings you can either do it all motor with those mods and go high compression like what I have or do those internals and go turbo and even with 180 horsepower all motor high compression build or around 200 is horsepower with a turbo a built k series or b series would destroy that thing and it wouldn't be fun to watch but I built 1.6 single cam d16z6 VTEC would make it an interesting race I have been all motor high compression d16 z6 p29 Pistons better rods bearings Ferrara flat face valves stage 2 cam skunk2 intake manifold skunk to throttle body cold air intake 1320 header full exhaust no cat and I piss off pretty much any bull-time b series even a couple lightly modded k series buddies h22 bolt on prelude you can build the single cams to be fun and it's cool being the underdog man everybody can build a dual cam do something different build a single cam and piss some people off it's hilarious and you can push around 180 to the wheel if you do it right I've even seen people pushing 200 to the wheel which is more than a stock k series at the wheels

Build the D16 with high compression pistons and port the head out add stronger valve springs and retainers tune the ECU for a higher rev limit and it will smoke the B16. Boost is fun too with supporting mods, I had a 99 civic about 10 years ago with a boosted b18 non vtec with drag tires and it was pretty quick I actually beat a Shelby gt500 in a 1/4 mile, it's one of my first few videos on my channel but that civic was only my 3rd fastest Honda I had.

@Great bird of hope trust me I get it b serious have way more potential and you can definitely get way more power out of them easier I completely understand that I've had 15 Hondas over the years but I wanted to be different so I decided to take my 95 Civic Coupe EX EJ1 and I decided to build the d16 z6 single cam VTec to just have some fun and be the underdog and piss off my buddies with their dual cams just for fun and it's a fun little car for autocross I have my built 2004 Honda Accord V6 6 speed Coupe with all the hfp Honda factory performance options on it Bill J series to have some real fun but anyways!!!! If you have a healthy d16 C6 with cold air intake headers full exhaust skunk 2 intake manifold skunk 2 throttle body Ferrara flat face valve springs retainers p29 high comp Pistons I already was pulling on my buddies b16 and b18s with bolt-ons with those mods I just listed then I added a stage 2 cam with better rods bearings etc rebuilter from the ground up she's high compression all motor chipped tuned on the dyno with hondata was able to get around 185 to the wheels which of course isn't nothing crazy and you can get way more out of a dual cam there's some people out here that have even been able to push 200 horsepower to the wheels with an all motor single cam pretty much stock k series horsepower which again is nothing crazy but when I go up against my buddies or random people with full-time b series and I'm able to keep up or pull on them it's hilarious because it's the underdog motor it's not supposed to be fast and they never believe me that it's a single cam when I pull on them until I pop the hood eventually I'm going to rip it out go k24 block K20 head and build that instead but as of right now it's hilarious having my bill all motor single cam and it keeps up with quite a few things of course the regular single cam with just a fart can exhaust and intake is slower than dog s*** and you can always get more power out of a dual cam but you build an all motor single cam right you can seriously surprise and piss off some unsuspecting people any car can be fast in any engine can be quick if you put the money in the right places it's a fun red light to red light car or autocross car with full suspension traction bars subframe lca's camber kit roll cage seats harnesses so it's already ready for the day that that single cam blows up I'll be ready to put in that case swap but as of right now she's fun to go take through the canyons and corners and here and there do a little pull from red light to red light and surprise if that's not quick enough I go home and grab the built J series Coupe and that's a whole different ball game
