@@alphanomad511 Not really, plenty of instances where phly destroys a tank with the calliope rockets, Matilda mortars, or BT-7T torpedoes. Just needs to be a direct hit to kill a modern tank, which phly has done before with these weapon systems.

@@Mika-ph6ku Not impossible to hit them, impossible to set up the situation enough to make a video unless he does a short "scientific" video with another YTer. Also, its a mortar, I dont think its ever in LOS of the APS, rather than being too slow to register, as its a giant chunk of metal moving toward the tank, it should register.

@@canniballistic555 Not impossible, just needs to find a camper or sniper that doesn't know he's there. He does it all the time when he flanks.

well i play with a PZ.IV G on 5.3 and I one shot most tanks lol.

Sherman has to be my favourite tank simply because it is amazing for aggressive play, and I love playing aggressively and moving on flanking routes against slower heavier tanks. Nothing more satisfying than clearing a flank and then moving up on a whole herd of tigers and panthers taking out their ability to fight back one by one and then finishing them off. I tried Germans but found them boring to play because they seem to specialize in sniping which I don't find very enjoyable. They're really good, but not fun in my opinion. British is a bit of the same story as the Germans but they start becoming very fun at 7.0 I haven't really played other nations to above 3.3 yet

@@Gary_The_Metro Russians specialise in close combat and urban warefare. The French too since the French have mobility and they also love open maps. The Italians love open spaces.

On 1.0 cr.42 with 12,7mm Breda safat. Destroys absolutly all.

Not to dampen the mood but getting jet kills with something like an il2 is more about circumstances than it actually being effective against them. The 23s are definitely good against tanks and planes.

Or the JU-87 G with 2x 37mm canons, at 1.7

I know right, EVERY TIME i spawn a fighter bomber or a bomber i get SHOT DOWN almost instantly. Every time i try to shoot a plane down with AA trucks, I die. good lord I just want to have some fun!

@@BeanzWarThunder I don't know what theater he was in, but he was shot down and spent the rest of the war as a P.O.W. he survived the war but I never got to meet him unfortunately. Dude was apparently tall as hell

Cool. I was a pile-it once. But I became a climber instead (tree service). My dad and his twin brother were tankers. During the Korean War but stationed in Germany. My dad put new tanks though testing, made sure they did what they were supposed to on a big course and firing range. He said if you get going full speed, downhill, and slam it into reverse "accidentally"...the asshole in the commander's hatch will fly right on out as the tank does a nose stand before taking off backwards back up the hill.

I think the futuristic tank's apfsds had around 1200mm of pen and they bounced that so yes i think they do have more armor than mice

@@princessapplestrach6327 That was mostly the work of the ablative armor panels I think, they obviously had special materials in the interior too that wouldn't shatter on impact but if the panels were shot off you could kill the crew with a direct hit so seeing a bunch of top-tier tanks battle the Minotaur would be fun.
