I was born in Baalbek, and my father would often visit these megaliths. It was one of the few things that really changed his views on life. He understood from early on that what we were told about the earth/history just didn't add up, that the truth was being intentionally hidden from mankind.
as a lebanese citizen i thank you for taking interest in my country. i really like your theories and i hope more people would open up their eyes and minds so we can find the truth. I actually live 10 mins away from byblos and i've visited byblos and baalbek numerous times, but i've never thought that it could be built by someone other than the romans because that's what everyone told me but now thanks to you, my mind is blown by the idea that it could have been someone else.

@tom blake hey tom, what is your problem....Are you just an angry little man knowing that when your ancestors were simple Hunter and gatherers that Mr. Hanessian's people were creative mathematics, building monolithic structures, created coined money, establish trade routes developed irrigation systems, developed writing system and we're smart enough to use clay brick cuneiform tablets to preserve their history and it's still here today, they created the first battery which means that they knew about electricity before Benny Franklin, they developed farming and Mining and so much more all the while you are people we're still rubbing sticks together to create fire? Brian Foerster, this guy is just taking it to whole new level. These photo compilations, the fact that he walks around these place and makes these videos. This is some of the best work I have ever seen about the ancient megalithic sites.
The problem with present day academics is their refusal to admit they just might be wrong. And that will always prevent any opportunity for advancement. 🤔 Knowledge is power. Question everything.

i was able to afford a trip to greece for two weeks in 1974. i would so much love to go again and re-examine and see more of the ancient sites i visited then, with the extra knowledge and appreciation i have now. I've been too poor to afford a week off for ten years now.. i'm doing my travelling and exploration with your videos. Thanks Brien.
I think this is the best lecture you have given. I have read so many articles and books on Baalbek.I am drawn to this site for some reason. Outstanding work Sir, thank you!
What Brien says about academics and their ways is definitely true. As an ex-academic, I corroborate his statements regarding the matter. I deliberately left academia, having witnessed first-hand and over the course of decades the huge, and often toxic, amount of ideology that permeates the entire university culture -- even the prized "hard" sciences. I hasten to add that I am shaped by, and thoroughly appreciate the findings, results, and theories of the "hard" sciences. What I criticize about them is a certain dogmatism and even, surprisingly perhaps, a certain political correctness.
Mind-blowing video. Just astounding! I visited the great pyramid at Giza last year which I thought would answer my questions, it only made more questions. I would highly recommend visiting Giza these days. We had the 'Kings Tomb' completely to ourselves. Just sublime. Lebanon is now on the radar!
I been to Egypt never been to Lebanon tho, however I can speck to the PERFECT cuts in the structures of Egypt. They are simply amazing! No video can capture them, 4k video's are the best, but to be under one of these structures is out of this world...
Brien Foerster has found his calling in life! Thank god that he's so passionate about these ancient sites and our true ancient history. Not only does he have the means to visit all these sites, but he also devotes a tremendous amount of time spreading knowledge and footage and photos.
Thanks as always Brien. I agree with your observations. Also the bevel blocks. They are the most over-looked hallmark of the ancient builders. I believe there are still some original structures at Baalbek. I added this lecture to my saved playlist.
Baalbek is such a mystery.. and it s really amazing how the tool marks are so blatant! Thanks Brien for all your good research and documentaries as always!
Just wow! This work you do Brian is the works I have always dreamed of. I do study the time...before the great flood. If people could imagine that there are no ways I can think of that a...normal human...could build these super massive structures. I believe much of the information was maybe destroyed in the great library of Alexandrea. I see that the arches of Baal are being put up in...places...nice work!
Whatever happened 12,000 years ago was devastating. Many species were wiped out and the few humans left were scattered. Evidence is everywhere that hints at a time when humans possessed understandings and technologies that rival what we employ today. I appreciate researchers who spend a lot of time and effort bringing us this information, which is barely mentioned in school. Thanks.
I'm amazed at how much knowledge has been opened up unto us that we never noticed yet was right in front of us all these years, centuries, millennia. Those giant gates, openings. The enormous heavy columns and blocks. Knowing what I do now, I see that all these great wonders of the world were constructed by gigantic beings. There were no giant lathes for cutting monolithic stones. I just can't see that being possible for 6 feet tall men. Thanks Mr Foerster. I love your videos. It makes me wish I had persued archaeology like I wanted, as a youth.
This is the first time I've seen pictures of all sides of the Stone of the Pregnant Woman. Had no idea it was still attached to the bedrock! What a peculiar angle the masons were using. One wonders if it would have been easier to work the stone in a horizontal manner? Or did the bedrock slip down? BTW the Pantheon in Rome is a well documented building from a historical perspective. Undoubtedly built by the Romans in the 1st century ce. It has giant single piece stone columns presumably turned on some kind of giant lathe. The giant bronze doors are immense and are the original from Roman times. The dome is still to this day the largest unreinforced concrete dome. So no need to imply a lost advanced civilization prior to the Romans. They clearly built this with the available technology of the period, most likely availing themselves of the best craftsmen most likely from the middle east at least for the columns and bronze doors. As for the rest, Romans excelled in brickwork and pozzolana concrete.
Simply put, great observations in differentiating the different time periods and those observations answer the questions I would have, so very effective. Can't wait to see more.
ALOT HAS BEEN DISCOVERED SINCE THIS VIDEO WAS MADE.....THERE ARE MORE BLOCKS UNDERNEATH THE STONE OF THE PREGNENT WOMAN.....IT WASNT EVEN THE LARGEST STONE
For the past 50 years I've been trying to figure out how those huge blocks of stone were moved and put in place. And I'm no closer to figuring it out now than I was then.
As someone who works in international logistics, you would need a lot of infrastructure to move these. Cranes, rollers, and vehicles capable of carrying 100-1,000 ton blocks... It is not possible with the story that has been promoted. “They rolled it on logs” bullshit. Any of these blocks would cleave a tree in half.
@@davelee3725 because we are applying human logic to something that may have been done by earlier life forms. Many institutions benefit from keeping history the way it has been known for millennia. For them, some things are better left unsaid. The wonder that I have is why? Is the truth so fundamentally earth-shattering that humankind could not even comprehend the information? Would it cause uprisings against the church, academia, and power structures? These are the questions that keep me up at night.
I have to disagree with the idea of Megalithic "pragmatic" building structures entirely devoid of art. The large, smooth surfaces of the monuments may have been incredible canvases for the painters of that remote era.
This lines right up in the timeline to be the Younger Dryas event, which we've just found the crater of, in Greenland. If all this building stopped at that same time 12000 years ago...it makes perfect sense that it was the Younger Dryas impact. All your research is finally coming together. I know that you focus on the middle east. I am in Mexico, and have been studying a mystery at Teotihuacan near Mexico City. Beneath the Pyramid city of Teotihuacan lies a series of tunnels roughly 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft. It is a separate system from the known stonework sewer and water systems and is built with considerably more precision than the other stonework "drainage systems". The curious thing about this 3rd set of tunnels is that they are precisely lined with thick slabs of Mica which came from a quarry in So.America some 3000 miles away. WHY??? Why do you build a series of intricate tunnels ....line them with what would have been a VERY expensive and exotic material that was, until then, only ever seen used as decoration.....and why would you then bury all that and build a city of at least 12 pyramids on top of it all. It's another of those ancient mysteries that completely defies all logic. I have a wild theory, but I need to revisit the site and do more research, before I would ever dare consider my own theory. I'm very curious if you have a take on this site and this particular mystery???
Tterribilis have you considered the possibility that the tunnels were a larger part of a recirculating treated water? Maybe water reconstituted? I had seen a few of these sites, I think maybe they were used to separate hydrogen from water.... hydrogen gas burns very hot when in contact with materials but not people.... it makes for a very powerful cutting tool as well as a very intense heat source for making other materials than tin, copper or bronze..... especially good for cutting stones, and then shaping & polishing them..... just a thought..... good luck on your research
Look at how that rock was situated"the stone of the pregnant woman" there had to be tons of earth removed to shape it alone!!! Not to mention the extreme erosion. It's super ancient!!! Great vid Brian!😀👏
The Sumerians described an area that corresponds to the modern day Bekaa Valley (where Baalbek is located) as the place where the Gods could come down to earth. It was some sort of space port. The huge blocks that make up the foundation of the Roman site would be strong enough to support a rocket.

I agree... If you ever look at the tarmac at an airport you will see the same thing. Concert foundations ( we don't use stones) and runways that are designed to support the weight of very heavy objects, like aircraft. Once fully loaded these ancient ships were extremely heavy.
@3RT my theory on gravity is this , the earth itself is a positive while everything else is surrounded by a negative. Opposites attract and that is a brief explanation of gravity.
My theory as to why such large stones were placed on smaller blocks is that the flying craft that landed on the platform used some type of magnetic levitation or anti-gravity drive. Say the vehicle weighed 20 or 50 tons. If they landed on smaller blocks, the magnetic field could have dislodged them making the platform unusable until it was repaired. However, using bigger blocks would mean that the magnetic field wouldn't have enough strength to dislodge them. The Causeway at Giza is also made of large blocks, maybe for a similar reason. The point is, they had a reason for using huge blocks beyond the idea that they used them because they could.
Very naughty boy. You skimped on your medication. Probably the medicines haven´t "landed" on time. LOL :-) People are getting really dumb nowadays with the most "fantastic" stories. What the hell happened to research, study, etc. That seems to be the real mystery of our civilization. Landing platforms for people that was in the limier of early civilizations/technologies, makes all sense. LOL ;-) Cheers
Sarcophagi of Helena and Constantina are 4th century AD Roman artifacts. They are megalithic pieces of porphyry (a type of GRANITE) carved beautifully and with great detail. The carvings are obviously Roman in theri artistic design. These artifacts show that Romans did possess the ability to carve granite at high levels. The pieces of granite used were transported from a quarry in Egypt.
I don’t think Romans had anything to do with the huge columns or even most of the “smaller” work in Baalbek. The smaller work is still 50 Ton blocks. Like thousands of 50 ton blocks! Romans built nothing like this in Rome. Their largest crane could only lift 6 tons. Coliseum is built from much smaller stones. I think romans came in and did some surface art and that’s about it
Yea there’s no way The frieze blocks on top of the columns weigh 66-110 tons... and they are 62 ft above the ground. Romans could never have built this
Baalbek was built by nephilim Giants as well as those other megalithic stone structures around the world. They are very advanced civilization even more advanced than we are today.
At 36:10 you see the grooves made along this curved granite object. The geologist in me notices that the pink feldspar lumps are the crystals of this mineral and are very large, perhaps many centimeters in size. Granite is an igneous rock that forms from the cooling of magma in the channels below the surface of a volcano after it has finished erupting. Most granite mineral crystals of feldspar are small, less that 5mm in size. The smaller the size, the faster (being closer to the surface) is the cooling. The large crystals take much longer to develop and must have formed very deep down in channels that were much closer to the sides of the deep magma chamber. This could be many kilometers below the earths surface. How was this rock quarried on the surface? To blast granite from such depths would require an explosion many times greater than any ancient volcano ever discovered in the Nile Valley. It must have come from somewhere else...from a huge volcano that erupted twice, millions of years apart with the second explosion to huge it would have blaster square kilometers of rock from very deep down. Its more likely from another region which had a shore on the Mediterranean.
I thought geologists have been to the aswan quarry and have analyzed the crystalline structures of the granite and can tell where the granite has come from and it did show it came from Aswan. If what you are saying is accurate, how they quarried granite from possibly miles below the surface is flat out impossible. Definitely something to think about.
Many thanks Brian for this video, just I would like to point out that at the quarry there are a kind of small caves that I couldn't understand the purpose of them; but I think that must be studied. The rest is amazing, I've been there around half a dozen of times and always I find something new.. Somehow like when you go to Giza, same feelings. I also recognized the Egyptian granite from the columns. April is an excellent time for visiting Baalbek, weather is good during day time..
An outstanding lecture and probably substantially the best one I've seen concerning the "Baalbek". I can agree everything said in this video. This is REAL Archaeology in the sense that one makes at least some straight conclusions about the observations as objectively as possible and KEENLY analyzes details WHATEVER - NO MATTER HOW IMPROBABLE THE RESULTS WILL BE - there is to be seen and observed. This should be presented in the Universities. On fuzzy areas official Academia - as a standard line - keeps silent and often overpasses embarrassing, observable facts and details to secure the "Establishments" outputted image AND for many, many other reasons not necessary to discuss here. They (academics, still with due respect towards them) in bothersome topics tend to "hide" under the "robes and cloaks" of officiality, speaking often outwardly "wood and grass" - mambo jambo, BUT with the tone of Authoritarians AS if they have a "sole truth" or then deny things altogether. People should be not believed just because of their "status". This video is really stunning and with FLYING COLOURS among the VERY best Mr. Foerster has EVER produced. Very important thing imo is that there are only PHOTOGRAPHS in this very substantial video and not moving video-clips. The caliber of this magnificent site is globally in the very rare class and photographs are the only way in which keen student (or someone interested on this topic) kind of "stops" to ponder things through details more deeply - not in a "fleeting way" like in videos, which of course are important tool in many other cases - also very much where for example, drones are involved etc.. But this one is a LECTURE and a very good as such - not the video from the site. This video is unsurpassable and a must watch, if any. Thank You really for Posting this, as it keeps us "awake"!
"There is no evidence of a previous advanced civilization." False! There is literally TONS of evidence carved in stone all over the world!!! I wish more people would wake up! Thank you for fighting the powers of ignorance that be Brien!
what is advanced about moving stones? the russians moved a 1500 ton stone with capstans and rollers in 1770... its called hard work and basic engineering.
@@AncientHistoryCriticisms I am for uncovering truth I just don't buy into the 'advanced civilizations' claim if that means lasers, spaceships or giants and angels. what does advanced even mean in this context it perplexes me.

Mats K You should realize that the reason we don’t find any of the stuff you listed is because it all would have deteriorated away over time. Steel, wood, glass, etc. would all be materials they likely used, but would very quickly be lost to time. The only thing left that would be recognizable after 10,000+ years of apathy would be stone, which modern humans still use for construction today, btw. Nobody’s swallowing down “fantasies” here, merely looking at evidence and asking questions about our collective past.
Mr Foerster, Thank you for your fascinating lectures. I think maybe Baalbek was set on a lake if you look at the topography it becomes more apparent. This ancient lake was served by The Al Kabir river to the north which would probably have been navigable at that time. Again with more water in the area I don't see why there could not have been a continuation of the Gulf of Aqaba through the Dead Sea, Sea of Galilee right to Baalbek it is one continuous valley topographically. How these pillars of granite were made with such precision is beyond me. Amazing !! Thanks again and good luck!
I live in Baalback and was born here. For 25 years i have visited the temple and i have to say this. Once you step inside the temple you will feel an energy. that's the only way I can explain it. You feel something weighing down on you a feeling of eminence. That you are small and feeling of something unknown. It's not uncomfortable or scary but you really can feel it. I hope you guys can come and visit but once you step inside the temple from the beginning you will know that this sample is different from the other temples at Athens or at Rome.
Someone should detach and try to move the pregnant woman stone... just to see the amount of work necessary. I work with cranes, building bridges and such and we use giant cranes for a fraction of this weight...
In 1586 900 men, 150 horses and 47 winches were used to lift a 25m, 300tonnes! obelisk from egypt!!! up in front of St. Peter's Basilica. So they not only moved that thing there - they even erected it! Holy smokes how do you guys even believe in the shit this guy is telling you?? Please just stop for a moment and think for yourself - and do just a tiny bit of research.
Fascinating, surely the work of the Nephilim or Anakim, descendants of whom inhabited Canaan at the time of the Israeli conquest...turning granite columns of this size was truly phenomenal...mohr's hardness up to 7...like rhyolite...
Maybe the smaller stones on the bottom were put in place to make a level surface , easier to move around and manipulate to get the site level witch is not easy in the first place. It's Amazing and impressive that people could do this construction.
Smaller stones can act as rollers when huge earthquakes hit. Like modern skyscrapers have those bearings that move. They kind of disconnect the structure from the earth so it floats.
Are you watching the same video as the rest of us? Movement cannot be explained!! Even by TOP MINDS ! One 1200 ton stone is 2 million, 400,000 pounds! Maybe 10,000 men could have moved them? But there would be mass graves near by from all the deaths .... So where are they?
@@glpsunburst they can't be moved the way they tell us. And it gets even worse at places like Peru with steep mountains. Moving a stone 1/4 size of the Baalbek stones on a steep hill is as deadly. I personally believe there was less gravity. They moved these giant stones like it was just another day at the office.
glpsunburst maybe they used elephants? Or preflood giants? Or everyone's pineal gland was working and they used sound vibrations combined with labor ? I honestly don't no . Fallen angels? But aliens are history channel misinformation to prop up the spinning ball lie .
Another absolutely fantastic presentation! Kudos to Brien Foerster for educating everybody about the existence of these archaeological sites & his theories which seem far more plausible than the generic "academic" narrative.
Good lecture. The Egyptians were here before the Romans. Who preceeded the Egyptians though? Baalbek was actually very northern Egypt during the powerful 18th dynasty.
@Truthspoon Not that difficult. The Egyptians were here (Amenhotep III, one of the Ramesses) ...so the original base was built at minimum a few thousand years before the Romans.
You had the Greeks, the Persians, the Assyrians, the Babylonians, the Phoenicians, and regular bronze age Lebanese. King Hiram of Tyre Lebanon sent workers and to help Solomon build the first temple which had similarly large stones in the foundation.
Here is something to keep in mind which nobody talks about. When these huge stones blocks are being carved, there are 3 sides which are smooth and square. Naturally, the bottom of the stone blocks are still connected to the bedrock. Once the bottom of the blocks are cracked and separated from the bedrock, they are no doubt rough and uneven. Since the roughest side is facing down, it would mean that each stone block would have to be rolled over so that one of the smooth sides was now on the bottom. Only then could the 4th side smoothed and finished. And if you planned on dragging the blocks, you would want a smooth finished side facing down, as there would be less friction.
The modern the civilization the smaller the stones. Humans are not stupid, they won't choose the impossible if they can choose the easy way. Why would they go to such great efforts, time and resources to drag and pile huge, impossible to carry and lift, stones if they could easily do it with small stones, as they did? For whoever did these megalithic constructions this was just as easy for them, as it was for the romans to build temples with small stones, marble, etc, as it is for us today what we do with cement, bricks, and machinery. Either they had machines we do not understand, or they were giants and these stones were to them as bricks are to us and what we think to be doors, were simply small holes for water. These served a very pragmatic - as Brian says - purpose, and wouldn't take hundreds of years and more than one generation to finish. It had to be done in a relatively fast amount of time to serve the population. So carrying mega stones must have been relatively simple to them.

Yeah, I have read the Bible cover to cover countless times and when he said that I was thinking "I missed THAT!???" Another make believer academic with a camera.
Because the Noahic Flood was so catastrophic, I find it impossible to believe that any structure, even made by giagantic Nephilim, could have remained exposed. The limestone from which the blocks were excavated is almost certainly diluvial or Noahic Flood deposits...

Can you even move a 1000 ton block now? Is there some sort of massive airlift coordination technique now that is required for such a lift? I don't know much about todays transports but I know there are some heavy machinery and such out there.
The Taisun is the biggest crane. It can lift 20 Baalbek stones. But the point is the Romans had to build something bigger than the temple to build the temple. It doesn't make sense. There are no Baalbek size stones in Rome or Greece. The greeks built much bigger war machines than the Romans and still there are no Baalbek size stones in Greece.
You can move a 1000 ton block without any 'modern' machinery. the russians moved a 1500 ton stone from finland to russia in 1770. wood, ropes and men... NOT magic!
Brien has such an eloquent erudite speaking style. So crisp... Precise! I've slowly become a massive fan of his work. THOUGH I STILL THINK HE SHOULD ADD 3D 360 degree VR Cameras! ;)
Excellent video Brian, I agree, for instance to build an Egyptian pyramid that matches in every way to the original...whole new tools, transportation, machines and methods would have to be invented. Today we just couldn't do it.
I noticed these strange hollow squares on several stones, a couple in this presentation and also on the large stones in Jerusalem on the so called western wall foundation. (although i doubt if that is the original temple wall, because it is deprived of fresh water which is required to wash your hands and feet before entering the temple.) I wonder at what mass the builders started using these squares and what their purpose is. it seems logical they are used for lifting but they are not perfecttly alligned. i see one row of several holes and sometimes underneath that line sections of two holes which appear to be on the left and right side of these giant blocks. they seem to form a square with the line above although they are not alligned perfectly. Is there any consistency regarding these holes? did you measure and compare them to other stones alike and what is the minimum weight of blocks for having these holes?
Those hollow squares are tests core samples taken to ensure the integrity of the stone and whether its uniform throughout and doesn't have cracks from what I understand.
Byblos is in Lebanon. It is considered to be one of the oldest cities in human history. What you are seeing are parts of the city, relatively modern (a couple of thousand years :) ), but as you noticed, these parts are further in land and further away from the sea. Byblos is smack on the Mediterranean. Now if you go further west, towards the see, I mean further west, like a 100 meters in, you will see the old Byblos, and it stretches on the coast, I'm sure, beyond what academics know or are willing to investigate.. Probably sunken now, just relics remain, I'm also sure Brian's trained eye can spot. Now Baalback, and since I'm from Lebanon and have been a few times, is magical. Just the energy that you feel standing there is palpable. Resonance or maybe just the sheer shock of how massive and beautiful it once was. What was this "functional" mega-construction for and who took the contract? "" If we were to presume that these structures had a function beyond just prayer or debauchery.
I agree with those who postulate that if the Romans had done the megelith stone work they would have cut the huge multiple hundred ton blocks up for other projects, but they didn't.Why🤔
