When in school i read it in syllabus. I was not able to understand it. It took me 30 years and a master degree in medicine to understand the level of this poetry.

The legend Zia sahab has no longer with us he was the only one who knows how to read urdu poetry he was the only one who did justice with shikwa and jawab e shikwa hats off to you sir. Our next generation would recognize him as we did john sahab after his death
@@dejazO0 NO, just no. Like everyone else, Iqbal went through different phases of faith. And Jawab-e-shikwa was when he reached the level of maturity in his faith. And I really believe Allah swt himself put Jawab-e-shikwa in his heart. Without Jawab-e-shikwa, Shikwa is incomplete

I think today's Muslims should read Iqbal's poetry. He was an intelligent Muslims, poet and philosopher. Some time this poetry makes me cry because of fall of Muslims. We should be unite again. Should stop fight and war against each other.

The subtitles and visual animation buttressed with the recitation by Zia Mohyeddin (no one else could've done it better than him) is the best way of disseminating the strength and wisdom behind every line, every word to the contemporary audiences.

I like to sit I'm solitude most days. I had a sad feeling about the condition of our ummah for quite some time and today this has put that feeling into words I could never come up with, so now I could say it in form of dua and feel better for for it. Allah swt make it easy for us all.
