That kit he plays is a Tama Rockstar DX with 11" and 12" mounts a 16" floor and a 22" bass drum. The shells are also Maple, if anyone thinks that kit is crap, doesn't know what a Maple kit sounds like. I know all this because I have, I no longer use it though, she is retirement now, I now play a Mapex and it just doesn't have the same aggressive "Heavy Metal" sound to it that my Tama does. This kid is better than I was at his age, I have been playing for 25 years and this kid rocks.
I'd like to second the remarks made about your comment. This is about talent and skill and also potential and if you think that people should dislike it based on your mentioned opinion, you are a sad person. I rather suspect that you completely missed the point.
@yondaimeeeeee Is it hard to believe that I've been playing that long, or that I haven't gotten better than this teenager in 40 years? I'm not the greatest drummer but I really have fun and also recognize talent. This kid is good. So is my own son. He is 13 and already better than me. Of course, I started teaching him as a toddler.
maybe i didn't said correctly (english is not my mother language), i mean he doesn't cross his hands when he plays the most of the time, a bit like old school drumming
@madfappin in this video he shows some good skills but there are not 'amazing' I've seen some other videos where he shows amazing skills which are totally different from these
open grip? drummimg for a VERY long time and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. never heard it. You mean matched grip, as opposed to traditional. Or do you simpy mean he isn't stiff when he plays?
