Talked to one Didi, and she told me that namos and lamos (means adding one `o` after the nam or kevalam) are ok. But that one should avoid not completing the full round Baba Nam Kevalam. Example of not ok "Baba Nam Baba Nam Baba Nam Baba Nam Keeeeevalaaam Baba, Baba Namo Kevalaaaaamooo". Though, if you ask me, even this can be ok, sometimes. So mystic this tune. I will try it out in one of the upcoming DC`s here in our unit. Thanks Namaskar
The original siddha mantra is Baba Nama Kevalam. Both are (nam) and (nama) are accepted. Over the years Ananda Margiis slowly sang the (nama) to (namo) Although sounding similar, the history should be taught to all and the appropriate siddha mantra should be sang. This technicality in word should be allowed with generous grace as the sincerity of the devotee’s heart is far more significant to bind the Supreme Entity. Baba Nam(a) Kevalam
