Daughter of once "Kilabot ng mga Kolehiyala" Hajji Alejandro, the younger Alejandro has to date released ten certified hit recording albums from 1989 to 2001. She also dabbles in theater; the most recent she played the role of Mimi in the Broadway musical Rent, at Victoria Theater, Singapore (2001). She bagged the Grand Prize award in the 2000 Metropop Song Competition. She is awarded the Best Female Recording Artist of the Year in the 6th Annual Awit Awards in 1992. She also won Best Interpretation of a Romanian Song in the Golden Stag International Song Festival in Brasov, Romania (1992). Some of her hits are Nakapagtataka and Paalam Na.
