Thanks for the honest pros and cons. Too bad the live classes are so expensive. Wanting to learn because I have family in Germany and some don’t speak English at all
I feel so behind in German in school, so i’m def gonna think about buying a subscription :)) Update :D I bought it, and i rlly like it! So far i feel like i understand everything, and not only does it teach me things, it also gives me confidence for class!
I'm planning on a trip to Germany next year. I've always wanted to visit, especially the Munich/Regensburg/Augsburg area because of the Hangman's Daughter book series.
When I went to Munich a few years ago the locals would cut me off with English when I spoke German. I think they’re trying to help and move things along. I also struggled with their dialect and speed they spoke. Good luck to you. I loved Munich
I'm seeing Frühling in Paris this summer...learning German will enhance this once in a lifetime experience (many speculate that Rammstein's last video, Adieu, means after 27 years they are finally retiring 😢)
We had German as a foreign language when I was at school many years ago, but nobody took it seriously but now I would like to learn German as a lot of English words obviously derived from Germanic language. How difficult is it? Cheers
So the prices on this video are out of date as all of the prices have gone up. The additional month options which were cheaper here are nearly 25% more expensive now.
I prefer a lot of mock conversations in my language courses but babbel is OK. Not like Rosetta Stone which is just too visual for me an auditory learner.
