I like this battle because of the competing ideas of what being an athlete means. Is it reaching top physical performance or fair sportsmanship? That's why I don't think Armstrong's doping should count against his own bars. But yes, Babe Ruth still absolutely won.

I think they purposefully made this a 1 sided battle to show how disappointed they were in lance..babe 2 verse i think he was rapping more as lloyd then as ruth...u can tell by hes voice his reactions he seeem to be hurt and disappointed

I totally agree with you regarding the emotion that Epic Lloyd put into that closing. Its like he was personally offended or immensely disappointed in Lance Armstrong and the steroid situation. I think in general, Lloyd has really good performances in ERBs, but this is one of my favorites. Probably has the best ending line of all the battles too Great reaction!!

I think Lance’s strategy was to blunt the expected attacks early by trying to get out in front of them. But that takes time and there’s just way too much of it to overcome like that.

I never held doping against Armstrong. For non-atheletes to get this... compare it to creatine - if you do not put in the hours of effort taking that would have no long term athletic benefit. What's more we watch Athletes give their all and admire the records they set as the best in the world, why? Because it shows the pinnacle of what a human can do... except it isn't. Some guy with enough drive but without the problem of being in a competition or a professional calls that record a Sunday.
