It's because it was new, and was packaged in a separate application. If these sounds popped on modern consoles it would annoy most people and they'd likely just turn it off.
Admit that we never hqd opportunity to play online in PS2,only some people from EEUU,Europe and Japan had opportunity...but it's funny and nostalgic hearing this sounds going through menus like PS3 Internet Settings. Games that i remember it has it was Burnout 3,King of Fighters Maximum Impact (1,2 and 4 Regulation A),Call of Duty 3 (and 2 i think),etc
Im still remember sound effects going network settings im play UG2,MW,B3,REVENGE just want to know if only can connect internet using auto connection but bruhh not even single working i was a kid just want to hear sound effects so goofy 😂
My honest reaction as an owner with Matrix modchipped PS2: What the hell is this 🗣🗣🗣🗣(the console just crashes when i open up any network related settings)
@@Kinai78 Probably i only tried to open it on Burnout 3 and NFS U2, then never tried to open that menu again and always assumes it's gonna crash , and not like the internet is fast enough back then in my country to bother with these menus lol
I remember coming across this when i was messing around with Ratchet & Clank: Up your Arsenals network settings and it took me there 😂😅 good times, good random ass times 😂
Hey @bk4 u forgot a error in all ps4 errors and is the : an error has occurred with the system software Connect the dualshock4 using the USB cable, and then press the ps button
Some PS2 games has that noise when try to configure the network, some games like Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence will actually use it's own UI sounds instead
