Did you say he doesn't stand a chance? I mean its 2022 when I'm replying this, but dude is top tier skills for over a decade. The only time IMO he didnt win on stage is when everyone was switching over to loop stations and a new wave of beatboxing.. Babeli here can still out beatbox most of those loopers because they practice mostly to record a single sound at a time, not 6. People like Penkyx can beatbox very well without a loopstation, and that's why he is so praised.
Hello Babeli! Thank You so much for Your submission to the SOLO category! We wish You good luck for the wildcard competition and we look forward to Your future projects!
@@mxkoster1615 REALLY?! I haven't had a chance to watch his yet but that's amazing! I mean, after that Tokyo performance I would say he'd just straight win it all. But still love to see him competing again!
@@kiwiher YESSS Skiller with that 7/8th timing! Back in the day reeps was just like uhhhhhh.....but now it be a different ballgame, with that inward drag perfected I don't think anyone could beat reeps now. MAYBE Alem because he has nasty speed and breath control. But that's about it.
At first I thought its maybe a bit too simple to win a wildcard but mannnnn so far this is the only wildcard I keep coming back to, its soooo catchy! Less is more!
Dude my 1 year old son wakes up every morning and we watch a clip of beatbox because of you. My boy sits in my lap trying to make noise and waving his hands. Because of you, my son will be in the beatbox arena. Thanks Bro!! Keep up the fresh sounds brother!!!!
Babeli I deadass believe you motivated a lot of legends to come back to do wildcards. Ty so much for making this video because of you this year GBB will be great.
As a newschooler, there are definitely a lot of common mistakes we all share, mostly timing, flow, and structure which should be no problem for an old schooler
i don't think babeli is old school, sure he is an og but his technicality is still one of the cleanest out there (he has the best throat bass too imo) if you've seen gbb 2016 you know how strong he is on stage same thing with people like zede, skiller reeps one they are all referred to as old school but they still can kick some ass!
