A warning. Babies are the loveliest, most gorgeous creatures in the universe, by far!! But, but, but, they are also the most exhausting. Twenty-four hours a day. When our babies were small (a long time ago) I used to talk about just how hard the work was, and mothers of small children used to thank me for disclosing that.
