Baby Boy Drummer LJ Visits Zildjian

Social Media Sensation: BabyBoyDrummer Justin "LJ" Wilson II visited the Zildjian Factory to see the world famous "cymbal room!"
Take a behind the scenes look at Zildjian Headquarters and the Zildjian Artist Vault through the eyes of a 4 year old drummer.
LJ Wilson became famous on Social Media for playing the drums when he was just 18 months old. Now at 4 years old his love for drumming continues to grow and it's evident through the excitement he has for Zildjian cymbals!
LJ chose to use the following cymbals during his performance in the Zildjian Vault:
17" K Custom Special Dry Trash Crash
15" Latin Multi Crash Hand and Stick
13" K Hi Hats
18" A Uptown Ride
16" A Custom EFX with 10" Trashformer (the stack "smashers")
10" fx Stack
Seeing LJ run around the vault to pick out these cymbals for this performance was seriously like watching a kid in the candy store!

Super cool video Zildjian! Speaking on behalf of anyone with a heart, the motto should always be "Kids First." So kudos for giving this awesome little guy such a cool opportunity! (Not sure which clowns would give this a thumbs down....good grief..) But aside from that, how neat that you let him have such a fun day at your facility. - Chris/Meinl

MEINALcymbals I love your product and currently play your cymbals but my first great cymbals were Zildjians and there still awesome but I love how y'all gave love to Zildjian and that great young talented boy, you even went as far as to defend that little boy on how could anyone dislike this! That makes me love buying your products even more than ever! That was very classy to recognize a competitor and give props too them and that little man!!!

@@normanwilmoth7404 Thanks for the kind words Norman. Kids should be off limits to all of the horse hockey that goes on out there with all of the dislikes and nonsense. That should simply be a non-negotiable. And yes, kudos to Zildjian for helping this little guy have an incredibly great day. The way he ran to each room asking where the cymbals are is what we would all have going on inside of us. It's just that eventually you lose that lack of inhibition and are too cool for school to show that excitement. It was nice to see LJ express it. Take care Norman. - Chris/Meinl

I really believe that I'd have a similar reaction. Here's some pictures of famous people, "where's the cymbal room?". Oh, here's some cool famous kits, "okay, but where's the cymbal room?"

This warms my heart dude, I’m 100 percent a Meinl guy but Zildjian I respect you guys so much for bringing him to visit Zildjian, I’m sure he had such a great time! The best part is that when he’s behind the kit actually playing, he’s actually pretty damn great and SO many leagues beyond his age. His pocket is there and he’s so tight! Again thank you Zildjian for making this kids dreams come true.

Zildjian fulfilling dreams. Honestly, Zildjian has been my heartbeat for cymbals since I was a kid as I was just like him, excited! Great job guys for making a child's dream come true!
