My favourite parts: just like Jess mentions, how Garrett pushes the kids just enough while at the same time making sure they’re comfortable, so inspiring!! Even as an adult that is not always easy.

Omg it’s so hard to pick the most favorite moment, starting from the kids reactions to the location, jumping in the ocean, discussing the favorite part of the day, amazing cute faces about salad vs desserts, to tricking each other to steal cereal. Every moment is my favorite. Alas I know the most favorite moment is Cali holding Garett’s finger while snorkeling, no matter how capable he is snorkeling, he still needed that little connection with daddy. That’s my favorite that no matter what our kids needs us. Love you, guys.

When Jess hold back tears for the flowers and welcome fishy. Honestly, when someone puts so much thought into you personally, it makes me cry too. You're loved around the world!

I was LITERALLY smiling throughout the whole video ❤ First, my favourite part was the family walks at the beginning of the video ❤ I found it so symbolic .. it's like your special way of walking through life as a family! But then I also loved the part where Manilla guided Cali and helped him ride the bike .. That was so sweet and so symbolic of the family spirit that you guys keep on spreading! I lOVE YOU so much .. My favourite moment is when you and Jess, as parents, being encouraging your children and enthusiastic about sharks. Not demonizing sharks. This makes me happy as a marine biologist, we need this kind of happy vibes and respect for the sharks. Thank you.

I absolutely love Cali's little fingers holding on to his dad as they swim with the sharks... oh my! The trust and faith that he has in Garrett to keep him safe is simply beautiful.

Dorothy's smile, Manilla's spirit and everything that Cali does makes my heart melt each time I see them❤️ His cute little steps to run, his almost crying face and his little but enough confidence in the eyes to jump in water all of it makes me go 😍😍😍❤️

Honestly, my favorite moments is watching Jess be a mom. You can see just by the little things, that no matter where you all are she’s always on her game, taking care of everyone. But also getting so much joy from what her family is experiencing, always living in the moment. ❤️

Seeing your family grow and adapt to an ever changing environment is inspiring. It’s beautiful to see how y’all teach your children so much through your travels and make them experience, cherish each moment.

The best part is in the flashbacks seeing how much the kids have grown over the years and how they are all so sweet, adventurous, happy, and brave❤️❤️❤️❤️

Cali: … “I got him.” ha. So cute and hilarious. No way was Manila getting his food. Watching Cali’s relationship with his older siblings who show him how to trust, try new things, love and be silly.

That moment when Cali said, “I’ll hold on to dad” and went snorkelling with Garrett… priceless… it really takes a whole lot of trust to go underwater the way he did. Super proud of you Cali.

I have a favorite part for each family member: Cali - watching him jump off the pier and face planting over and over into the sand 😂 and watching him learn how to ride a bike! Plus his comments are genuinely just the best 😂 Manilla - saying “it turned out just how I pictured it” and seeing the pure elation on his face! As well as him running along the pier shouting “come on Dad let’s go!” with Garrett and jumping into the water. Garrett - seeing the absolute pride and love he has for each one of his children and hearing it in his voice. He is so amazing with them and you can hear the joy he has teaching them all new skills and watching them grow and progress with these skills. He has instilled such amazing values and pushes them to believe that they can do all they put their minds too. Dorothy - she really expresses all of her personality through her facial expressions 😂 her face when Garrett said to call the salad room her favorite room at the resort 😂 But the best part is seeing her relationship with her brothers and how both are different relationships but truly have love at the core of them both! Love how she was backing Manilla swimming the length of the pool and put out a helping hand in the final push to get him up. Jess - I truly believe that she is encompassed by true true love for her whole family. She lives through the eyes of her children and seeing how she is genuinely beyond happy seeing her children so happy learning and experiencing so many amazing things is so heartwarming! 🤍

I love ❤ seeing the kids faces full of excitement when they arrived and the sweet "Welcome Home again" Seeing Cali's 1st swim with the sharks 🦈. So many favorites but just watching the fun is ALL to put a smile on my face especially in my down moments.

When Cali was holding onto just your finger, pointing at the sharks and was excitedly talking about what he was seeing! It was like all the fear was washed away, looking at a brand new world under the sea

I just love hearing you talk about each child, and seeing how fearless and trusting they are within your relationship… it makes it hard to choose a specific moment because they’re all so dear. That being said, watching Cali spot a shark, hearing his noises and Garrett simply sharing in his excitement was really sweet to watch.

Love, love, love the “favorite part of the day” at dinner time. I do that with my nieces and nephews when we travel together and those chats around the table are amazing. I think what I love most about your family is the magic you make of every moment no matter what it is, big or small. The pure joy and love you all share through these adventures is the best!

My all time favorite part not only in this video but almost every videos is when Garrett have his encouraging talk to all the kiddos every-time they do something big. The way Garret talk to all the children are so calm that give them a sense of peace. Cali did so good and is such a brave kid!

How can anyone else’s favorite part not be Manillas proud face when he crosses the pool?? I’m so proud of him!! He had a goal and kept trying until he got it 💙 and of course good job to daddy

Favorite part: Garrett's laughter, filled with love, celebration and pride when Manilla manages to cross the entire pool with one breath. That kind of laugh is the most beautiful sound a child can hear. The sound we all wanted to hear from those who raised us. The sound that every child deserves to hear. A healing sound and so powerful ... Not once that I don't get moved when I watch your videos, they strengthen in me the determination to do my best, when I will be a mother, to make my son feel that I am proud of him, like Garrett's laughter...like Jessica when is moved by talking about her children...

21:38 - is my favourite moment when Manilla through his hands in the air when Garrett ask him what is he going to do with his hands riding down the water slide. That is a raw child emotion. Because the older we get, the saver we want to stay, and we miss the moment to be free. To life in the moment like a child

I love the way you parent your kids. You don’t let fear being them down. I like the part when Cali is saying SHARK SHARK under water and then Garrett brings him up and says “cool” let’s go say Hi. If there was any fear, the confidence of the father shows Cali he should not have fear. I hope to lead my future children like this. God bless

Going to an airport by ferry definitely beats going by a taxi, car, or train! With the way the editing was done, it looked like the seaplane was barely in the sky which I love. Smooth. And wow, and I thought the pool at Soneva Jani was pretty cool with a view of the ocean, but this one at Soneva Fushi? This is the definition of tranquility. Being surrounded by nature. I can see why Manilla loves this place so much Seeing the sharks in the water at 3:28 moving the shoal of fish out of the way to create a path for itself is honestly so satisfying to watch.

Cali had the cutest squeal and laugh while playing with his siblings in the kids den…..and how can we not have a good laugh when he just grabs Manila’s food 😂😍

The lizard was like: Oh am I in the way? Sorry about that, I'll move for the distinguished little gentleman That lizard is an Oriental garden lizard. Looks like a female based on coloration. They are the only agamid found in the Maldives. Reptiles on the islands are rare since the islands are so small. You know that you achieved parenting and taught them well when they say the moment they arrive "This is how I pictured it". Warms your heart to see their faces lit up and appreciate what they get

I absolutely adore how much trust you all have in eachother. The family dynamic you have created is yearned for by so many - love, trust, generosity, encouragement, bravery, humour, pride, independence and so much more. The looks of pride and admiration shine through your faces and light up everybody around you. The moments of pride are my favourite parts of this and every video: when Manilla encourage Cali to ride his bike, when Manilla swam the distance of the pool, when Cali snorkeled successfully and and when Dorothy was still able to trick Manilla. I love seeing the relationship between Dorothy, Manila, and Cali! Especially this week, seeing how they joke with one another about sneaking each other’s food and support one another through new experiences like bike riding and snorkeling. I’m currently at school and missing my two younger sisters, and seeing the fun the kiddos are having brings such a smile to my face! My sisters and I always watch your videos together, so being at my first semester of college in a different state from them has been difficult.
