Baby chimpanzees need a lot of entertainment ~ their active minds, hands, and feet are always busy! This Halloween at Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Sierra Leone, the staff and volunteers prepared some extra festive treats for the younger rescued chimpanzees.
This segment was filmed at GLOBIO Programs Partner Tacugama Chimpanzee Sanctuary in Sierra Leone. Visit bit.ly/TacugamaPartners to learn more about their amazing work rescuing, saving, and caring for chimpanzees, and their national education and conservation work. The young chimpanzees shown in this video have all been rescued after losing their mums and families. At Tacugama, they have a second chance at a healthy, enriching life with new chimp families.
