Hi Panda's
My father found a baby Jackdaw that had fallen from their roof. My father had a bussy week so he asked me to take care of it.
We named him Pingu after the clay-animation Pinguin. Haha.
There will be a video soon where I will update you on how he's doing! Pingu has already grown up and big!

I love Jackdaws. 8 of them have been coming to my garden for the last few months. They seem to love mealworms. Beautiful eyes too.

Crow must freed from their habitat... that's crow is a fledging crow after grown up you must freed that bird thank you

I have a baby Jackdaw which was in a nest in my chimney,I'm hand feeding it Sadly two others did not make it I am hand feeding it on cat food,mealworms,fruit,bits of chicken and it is happy and thriving very well He lets me know when he is hungry

It's so cute & sweet! They're so much work to feed them so often but adorable! Friend had a raised a crow baby on dog food and it stayed with him as great big bird!

I found a baby crow today too, but mine is super tiny. I'm feeding it canned cat food with a dropper. Did you keep it as a pet? I found a mockingbird too. We kept him because he lost his fear of humans and cats and dogs. He hangs out with our pets. We were afraid he'd trust a feral cat out there and so, he's here. He flies everywhere including the terrace. Luckily he poops in specific locations where he has perches, so that's a relief. Easier to clean up after him.

Good job👍🏻 here in Holland it is not allowed to keep it as a pet. This bird has been set free after.

4:31 That yawn and little cough, as well as it’s hoarseness, was a possible symptom of gapeworm. Gapeworm can easily kill birds. This is why when you find a wild bird chick you send it to a professional for rehab as soon as possible.

did you check to see if theres a nest nearby? maybe you could put him back or try now unless too much time has gone ;( I feel like boomers need facts nmore than anoyone :9 and yet they maybe don't have if relevant or not :(((( God speed the bd God speed anyway

sadly with good intentions this fledgling is being denied very important life lessons that will likely result in its death. The mother or other birds teach it how to eat... literally, this bird will expect the food to jump into its mouth without these lessons and will starve. Parents can leave fledglings for hours, far longer than a humans patience, best to leave non flying feathered birds for 24hrs and then consult a wildlife expert who will ask you to look for things like a full chest, warmth ect.. clues that it is being fed. Man it sucks that we cant just help them, but they're so different they require lots of specific knowledge.... best case for this bird is to be released to a wildlife expert of if denied to stay with this nice girl, being released now would likely result in death
