I dont think you can really blame the girls for getting pregnant at such a young age. With 5 generations of teen parents they've been taught that it's normal and fine, and it's a cycle that's incredibly difficult to break. Hopefully their kids wont go though the same thing
It's not incredibly difficult to break, they have so many options, abstinence, condoms, birth control. She said it herself and hey didn't attempt to use any protection. Seeing 2/3 generations around her do this, should have been eye opening enough to say no thank you to this lifestyle. All of them baby mothers I don't care who STILL In a relationship nobody is married. NOT even the military man married her. That's the quickest way to get more income and even medical insurance for her right in state.
I don't know about in the US but the welfare system in Australia is designed in a way that you get more money and living benefits to keep pumping out kids rather than getting a job. It's wrong. A teen pregnancy "by accident" I can possibly believe once, I don't believe a second time is an accident it was a choice
Teenagers are going to do what they want regardless of how many times you tell them not to, and exactly this show is to help encourage other teens not to do what they did. Regardless babies are blessings so shut your mouth @bries thoughts 😘
They're kids from single moms. Moms can't be home even they have to work. It creates a cycle of struggle. The lack of emotional availability from a mom who works can be hard. It can be easy to want a family and want a partner. It's not a moral issue. It's an economic issue. They did the best they could when they could.
Pathetic excuse for a man. What a terrible example he’s leaving for his daughter. Imagine his daughter dating a man like him. So awful. The fact that she puts up with it is despicable.
Good for Dee, saying he didn't know what he wanted to do with his life but wanted to be the best man, husband, and dad he could be. He stepped up and most boys could never do that good for you 👍 Unlike that brat Alex
I think because they are used to it. It’s like being nose blind to a really stinky smell because the nostrils have become used too used to smelling shit.
Chile parent’s agree that 18 is grown and pour their children liquor 🤦♀️ I agree! You’re not grown till you can buy alcohol cigarettes and not need a co signer for your own place
felt bad for the dad when she said “shouldn’t be in the military then” and the dad was like “well hey had to provide” like girl support ur damn man wtf😂
THANK YOU. My fiancé is in the military. He did it to avoid some serious student debt. Yeah, the drills and camps suck, but he's doing what he needs to do.
I stopped the clip after that. I don’t know them but I feel bad for him. He seems responsible and she’s trying to be a famous TikTok Mom 🤦🏾♀️🙅🏾♀️ That kid is adorable 🥰
LITERALLY. Like ma'am, he's supporting not only himself but you, your child, and the child that's coming. I looked so confused when she said that. He's doing what a lot of boys his age refuse to do. Be responsible. Like she has a whole man while her OLDER sister is with a boy who wants to get another girl pregnant and isn't with his family. Like... Damn
@@laural7373 They don't have to it's the way they act. Most people don't think it's "normal" to have a few kids before you're 20. She's acting like it's cute.
no B she isnt acting like its cute. she is just showing how her journey is going for her, if she is doing ok, why should she act out a mental breakdown or something so she wouldnt make something "cute"?
I mean like, it is what it is & it's not like they can shove the baby back inside. Instead of judging teen moms, maybe you should take that energy and advocate for better sex ed, or free birth control, or for adequate supports for young families.
As a veteran, I wanted to punch her in the face for that comment. She has no idea how good she has it and how hard she could have been struggling instead.
@@jenniferwilliams5478yeah also even better I heard for families in America it might vary in states and family financial problems but u can get around $1,800 on average per month I think that’s a lot for a teenager considering im one and I think that’s alot (I’m ot American btw)
I don’t think it’s so simple. My colleague was a teen mother but later on got a degree and ended up becoming a doctor. She always says she taught her children to be different but her daughter is also pregnant at 15. I think it becomes something very hardwired into your background, and it’s hard to break free. My colleague is now 35ish and a grandma :/ :/
It's beautiful to be a younger mother who can play with the kids. All these old washed up 30 something year old moms just want to sit and put their kids in programs so they don't have to parent!
@@galactichoneyxo117 You think 30s is a washed up age??? Wtf? I sense projection and insecurity from you, because that’s the perfect age to raise children based on stability and maturity. You cant pay for life experiences and lessons or growing pains.

@@iamelote bruh wtf y'all always try to bring this up but what teen doesn't know about safe sex these days? 😭 i mean kids as young as 10 are being exposed to those topics? i was 10 or 9 myself when i was taught about the importance of safe sex, periods, STIs such as HIV, etc. im 15 now and i've taught myself more about it through the internet. if you’re not well informed about sex then you shouldn’t be having it in the first place and if no one’s teaching you about it then teach yourself don’t just sit around expecting someone to do it for you. i feel like a lot of y'all just don't realize that people simply choose to not use the resources they have sometimes and then wonder why they got pregnant 🙄
@@recvq6158 So, you’re obviously coming from a privileged background and aren’t aware of what growing up in religious strongholds is like. Sex Ed is not taught in all schools and many parents in certain areas of the country do not ever discuss sex with their teens and even threaten to disown them if they ever dare have sex. I’m glad you grew up in a good environment, but much like you shouldn’t have sex if you’re not informed about it, you also shouldn’t speak on social issues that you aren’t informed about. Also, in a lot of locations, birth control is impossible to access without your parents knowing and growing up in small towns where everyone knows you and will tell your parents makes buying condoms pretty difficult.
@@iamelote well there really isnt any incentive to have safe sex especially for stds when most children don’t have stds so its alot safer and even if they are on birth control it can fail so it kind of just gives a green light to go ahead and do it without worry when in reality pregnancy is a 1-100 time chance per sexual interaction with most hormonal birth controls
Why the hell is a 17 almost 18 year old man getting with a 14 just turned 15 year old girl. That’s disgusting. Their in two completely different mind frames.
THANK YOU!! I’ve been looking for someone to point this out it’s just outright gross and I don’t even think it’s legal ( I don’t live in America so I don’t know )
Lol … 18 and 20 aren’t that young to have kids … some people MARRY at that age .. go into the military at that age .. who’s to say they can’t be parents as well ?
@@Bigbodybenz397well they aren’t saying that no one that age can. But rather that they themselves aren’t ready for it. Which is becoming the norm. The age where people become parents is increasing a lot in developed countries due to financial situations or work priorities. As many people want to plan on having a kid when they are financially secure. The average age these days in North America is 27-30.
LOL, I love how all the women in this reply section, as well as the original commenter, acted like the girl is totally innocent and a victim, oh yeah it's all about the man stepping up and being blamed, the girl was so responsible to get herself pregnant as a teenager, because that's really intelligent life choices right there! The girl is a $¢umbag, she's clearly too uneducated to think about her actions, now her children are going to suffer because of it, learn to keep your legs closed ladies, until you are an adult, have been in a stable relationship for at least 4-5 years, and can financially support and house a child! Instead of going off and sleeping with men for fun and then expecting everything to be perfect afterwards! TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY AND BE SENSIBLE!
My biological father left soon after my mother found out she was pregnant with me, left her with a six year old and a four year old. They had been married for about seven years. He wanted the pleasure of procreation without the responsibility of raising what he created. They were divorced three years later. He only came to visit three times before i was five years old because he was too lazy to work to have the money for child support. I have no memories of him.
My son is finna be 2 in December only time his father sees him if he runs into us somewhere cause we stay in the same city . I got tired of blowing his phone up to do his part and just let him be .

She doesn’t just sit at home she takes care of her baby while pregnant and takes care of the house hold that a job! I have disagree with what she said tho he’s being a man an responsible and so is she she just shouldn’t of said that it was fukd up
I agree. She's not even his wife. Just a damn girlfriend. She seems the type to cheat on him if and when he gets deployed. She's complaining meanwhile she lives in a nice house she didn't even earn.
Love how he said… “well I gotta provide”… he’s so young but yet knows what he needs to do as a man… there should be many more young men like that… Funny young girls still don’t understand the sacrifices a good responsible father does for his growing family!
Nah, he did it in a selfish way. He even said "I gotta provide for ME and my family" when it should be my family and I. Whole situation is weird. They're 3 years apart. So she was 14 or 15 when she got pregnant, so he was 17 or 18. Eeek. He probably joined the military to get away from her 😂
HOLD UP, HOLD UP, HOLD UP! This is the most calmest person I’ve ever seen in my entire life to someone who has cheated on them, plus got their sidechick pregnant, & on TOP OF THAT she’s accepting him BACK?! The fuck? The fact that Alex is claiming he loves her etc is bullshit to my ears. You knew what the fuck you were doing to the other girl & now you’re switching sides? Bro... Be careful who you have children with. I respect Tiarra already but especially since she admitted she was young & dumb in the very beginning. Lots of teens are in denial. “Give me my drinkie.” I actually say “drinkie”, too sometimes...heh, heh. 5 generations. I've never heard it go that far before As far as Tyra goes...her, her sister, & cousin all got pregnant around the same time the 1st round. & here we are again...both pregnant except Tyra this time. I swear, these girls are planning pregnancy packs on purpose. LOL! That’s crazy how she (Tiarra) has to go back every so often with the trip being far away. I know this show is called Unexpected but I’m sure Tiarra planned this 2nd pregnancy. Unpopular opinion: If their cousin Taylor was bald, she'd look like Caillou.
Tiara needs to STFU she's sleeping with D who "allegedly' messed around with a couple of her OWN cousins before Tiara and she definitely needs to get her some birth control.

You see how many generations of teen parents they have in their family? These chicks don’t know any better. Hopefully this next generation doesn’t make the same mistakes.
I was a teen mom almost 19 years ago. I got a triple major bachelors degree, got into law school, and my child is headed to college this year childless. The stereotype of teen moms has gotten so old. Anyone can throw their life away no matter what age.
It takes 6-8 weeks and that’s IF you even get it. Plus some social security offices are doing appointments only and that can take over a month to get in some.
As a Mom I can protect my child in anything life throws at them except teen pregnancy, you my child must protect yourself don't trust anyone else to do it for you!

Yes, it’s not a good idea, but it doesn’t mean you can’t have your “head screwed” and become successful. Period!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There's absolutely no reason for teen pregnancy these days. Abstinence or birth control. Education should always be encouraged, or be prepared for a hard road of poverty. With or without a so called "partner."

Why is it that nature allowed thick people to create? None if these people come across as having common sense. Who is paying for these children, the roof over their heads, food on their table, etc? My daughter is 25 years old, and I’m so glad she’s got her head screwed on. Why can’t these kids get an education, get a job, get a home, find a decent person, get married, and then have a child. That way you’ve lived, you’ve met the right man, you’re financially dependent, and you have common sense. Life is too easy
Women do all that and still make horrible choices in partner's 95% of the time.
