peachy boye these bags aren’t even soap. It’s just moisturizer in a bar. That’s why it’s called “dove beauty bar” and that’s why the paper doesn’t dissolve, because it’s not soap
tbh dove bars aren’t soap they’re just bars of moisturizer that can suds up. That’s why the “protein paper” doesn’t dissolve on the dove bar but dissolves on all the other soap bars. I realized this when I thought it was weird that they never said “soap” on dove bars. They’re just dove *beauty* bars instead of dove *soap* bars. So I researched it and lo and behold!
Are you saying it's not made out of fatty hydrocarbons? Because that is technically all "soap" really is. You can add scents and moisturizers and other proteins, but they are just additives and do not constitute soap chemically without the basic fat.
I love Dove products. They are the best! I've been using the Sensitive Skin Dove beauty bar for years and I'm sure that's one reason why I'm often mistaken for 35, when I'm actually 50 !
Thought that was a duck-shaped yolk in a boiled egg. I was going to comment "whew, yah find a way to do any dang on thing these days" (In my old-woman-constantly-surprised-by-the-new-world voice). Lol.
Technically, if this is an hydrated soap it shouldn't stay intact. Cause if it really hydrated skin the water on it must be broke all the paper. You know?
Dove, is an excellent product. It does what it says. If you are concerned about the your skin's sensitivity use this product. I do. It's not harsh. Leaves no residue on your skin. You are moisturized. Period.
i have bad eczema and super sensitive skin as well as asthma and unfortunately ive passed this down to my kids. if you or your children have similar problems id say this product isnt for you. dove is the only stuff i can use on my hair and body at all so i was hoping this would be good for my kids but it is sooo sooo sooo perfumed, it made me sneeze and wheeze right away and gave my son rashes :( maybe they'll make a scentless product for people with more sensitive skin?
DOVE you got some nerve. As a person who sells home made soap for babies I feel offended you made this garbage. Your soaps are hands down the worst soaps to put on a baby's skin, but you have the nerve to compare yourself to other baby soaps.Probably going to delete this comment but I don't care just had to say it.
I agree this soap is the worst thing you can use on your baby. I just made a comment but reading others to see if anyone else had the same issue. My baby got a UTI thanks to one use of this soap. I had multiple UTI infections and didn't realize it was the soap till it happened to my daughter and now I am suffering with kidney pain and been struggling for over a year because of this infection this soap gave me. I never had UTI problems before using this soap and I wish I realized sooner it was this that was giving me the reoccurring UTI infections.
