Bridge over Troubled Water is the fifth and final studio album by American folk rock duo Simon & Garfunkel, released on January 26, 1970 on Columbia Records.
Baby Driver is track 7 on the CD.
Played on my Fender Custom Stratocaster 56 nos fitted with Kinman Impersonators 54 v3 pickups on Bridge position through an Alesis Quadraverb Q2 with EFTP patch 1-66 (Abbey Road Reverb) I added a small amount of Over Drive from a Boss OS-2 Pedal and sustain from a Boss CS-2
I made Tabs out of my arrangement which are FREE to download from my website here :-

I bought the the Backing track came from Karaoke version as all the ones on YT aren’t in concert pitch - www.karaoke-version.co.uk/custombackingtrack/simon-and-garfunkel/baby-driver.html
Sound recorded in Cubase SX6 and edited with the three 4K Video takes made with 3 Panasonic VX870 4K camcorders in Song Vegas Pro 14

👍👍 hey that's great I'm a big Simon and Garfunkel fan when I saw the name I could not remember what song it was but the second you started playing it I knew exactly which it was. Just a little side note when Simon and Garfunkel first started in the music business they were called Tom and Jerry.

Hi Phil, one of my all time favourite Simon And Garfunkel songs which I played to death when I bought this great piece of vinyl back in 1970. I thought this one was the answer to everything musical. You played it well ….. although maybe a little light on the bass side ? ( I don’t know ) still a good listen 54 years on and you played it to perfection. Well done. Glad it's one you know and like - I agree with you completely it lacks todays modern powerful bass - All the BT's on YT are out of tune and although I can easily put this right anyone downloading them would have to re-tune their guitar to match. The other reason I bought the KV BT was I intended to mute the SAX solo and play my own thing but after trying it I found it sounded better keeping the Sax and playing with it - Just a pity there isn't punchy bass on the BT.. Fantastic tune....Phil, do you have to at least know how to sing the song.....not necessarily the lyrics....in order to play it instrumentally well.....I assumed this because with other instrumentals....I at least have to know how to hum each and every note.....cheers, Phil.....Ramon

Hi Ramon - Yes I have to get the tune in my head so I can work out the notes. I get lots of requests for songs I've never heard before and they take longer to work out as I have to play them over and over, that's why I prefer to cover songs I already am familiar with .
