I have watched so many nursery tours and this by far is my favorite! I love that most items are second hand, I am DIYing a lot of items myself and hope to keep finding more items on Facebook marketplace, baby consignment events, thrift stores and yard sales since the majority of my house is thrifted! I also am super excited about getting a shower rod for the closet that is brilliant!!!

Okay, I really don't want to be that person... but I'm gonna be that person. Are you one of those women who are just extremely obsessed and fixated on every single detail in your home being "aesthetic" and beige and all that? Seems like it based on this nursery 😂 My point is, color and visual stimuli is SO important for a baby's growth. Where's the color in this nursery? Everywhere I look there's white, beige, and in general very dull colors 😭 And if you're rolling your eyes, there is evidence to back up my claim 👍 According to Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, "Contrasting colors send the strongest signals to a baby's brain to help stimulate brain growth and aid in visual development. By three months, a baby starts to see color and the addition of brighter, primary colors become important for their development." There's my research. Hopefully someone's willing to read all this 😭😂
