I already had baby fever because my brother in-laws sister is pregnant and we’re close to them I’m so excited her due date is December 1st sooo very close you never know if she’ll come early or late ❤ 🥹🙂
That baby is going to have the best relationship with his grand-parents. I lived as a new-born at my grand-parents house while our house was under construction and we had the best relationship ever. I think this is also going to be the case for Sophia’s baby💙

Weather it be a pack and play, crib or bassinet. You can use a swaddle until they’re 8 weeks or they are rolling over and then use a sleep sack.

Get the big tubs of sudocrem. It will help so much. And nappy bags!!! Also, the cotton wool is good to get as you'll need to clean under the babies 4skin to ensure he doesn't get an infection down there. TMI but it's important to know all this for being a baby mum. I'm so excited for you.

Just a little tip from another mom: white stuff like the bibs will get stained easily and if you want to carry on using white ones, i would recommend ox bile soap. This gets out so many stains, it’s awesome.

I got the Nanobebe bottles with my son but I had leaking issues with them, they’re so cute but didn’t work out for me. If they don’t work out for you, you should try the boon bottles they’re a whole lot better and still cute and they got a black baby bottle! I love how practical you are being! It's so good to see. You are going to be an amazing mum! Can I recommend looking into some double zippy suits/baby grows (We have Bonds in Australia im not sure if you guys have that brand over there). They were a game changer for my baby as she got older. Made my life a lot easier when she started moving and buttons were no longer an option. She's nearly 2 and I still use them for night time and it makes life so easy for changing her.

If you find Johnson boring (after a while) there’s a range called my little coco in boots specifically made for babies (I even sneak the lotion for myself 😍🤣). All different scents. It’s amazingggg. Started using it on my nephew when he was born. He’s 2 in 7 days. He absolutely loves it. Lotions, hair custard, bubble bath, shampoo/conditioner. Even little baby bath bombs. There’s even a range for expectant mums. Bump oil/masks etc 💜
I also felt like I went overboard with outfits. However, I quickly realised when my son was born that they can go through 4-5 outfits in one day so he ended up wearing all of his many outfits more than once. So don’t worry about having too much clothes 😊
Usually baby have colic and with my 2 boys I bought the bottles with the stuff that come in the bottle which I think is better, you should try it…. It’s so worth it I never have colic problems with them bottles, I have the dr brown bottles and they are amazing! Just a little something so you don’t get stressed out, babies and colic does not go girl!
As first time moms I think we in general go overboard for our babies. I know I do. I love shopping for my daughter I know she is growing fast but she never has to much clothes. You are going to be a wonderful mother
Triple Paste is like the best diaper rash cream. I’m a daycare teacher and I will tell you that that cream works miracles on even the most raw diaper rashes!!!
Always buy a few bigger bits just in case from experience, my mam had lovely boy clothes for a normal sized baby boy and she had to size up as he was a big big boy when born, the hospital provided clothes for him as nothing mam brought fit him and dad had run quickly to get stuff but he let my aunt know and when she came down to visit she has everything sorted ❤️❤️
