I have a new Regaila and a new sewing studio. I love the machine and I am learning to use the features that make longarm quilting so much fun and so rewarding. There is, however, a feature of your machine that needs tweeking. The plastic receivers for the roller ends on the front ends of the machine are very sharp. In the 2 months or so that I have had the machine, I have had 4 cuts to my arm as I moved around the machine from the back to the front. I have about 30 " in which to maneuver which is plenty, but that sharpness is hard to avoid, especially when focused on the quilt. The metal table ends are nicely rounded, there is no reason that these plastic pieces could not, also , be rounded.
Excellent vid & info! my aunt just purchased Regaila & has asked me 2 help her with her quilting projects on the machine. Any recommendations on other reference vids & books?
