I must say, your the best momma ever!!! Little Gracey and Lillian have the best momma and daddy in the whole world!! You treat them much better than they would ever be treated in the wild. They actually have a chance to grow up and experience a wonderful life. In the wild not all monkeys make it to a older age, they die before they can even get a fare chance, but these girls definitely have it made. I love how well you dress them, feed them, get them ready for bed, and mostly I love how much you love them. To many times people can be so abusive but you and your husband are wonderful parents to them. Yes. This family really are the best! They have the very best home with land and trees they climb w/out being leashed, swimming & tons of toys & games inside. They truly are a great Christian & loving family. 💜💘💜💘💜💘💜💘

WOW Judy! You can really move getting that bed read. lol Lillian thought she was going to play, but she did settle down enough to help you dress her. How cool. She is so smart and seems to understand everything you say to her. Her actions show that by the way she does what you tell her to. Love that she brushes her own teeth. My mom had 4 of us every 2 years and then when I was 20, she had my baby brother on Dec. 23 (my Christmas present I thought). She started giving him cereal in his night bottle the day she brought him home from the hosp. That way, he wouldn't wake up hungry so soon and he would sleep longer before he had to have another bottle You giving Gracie cereal in her bottle reminded me of that. The way she moves now is amazing. I would be afraid that she might crawl off the bed. I hope not. Love your girls and your videos. Thank you for the cool things you how us. Hi Judy. Happy Thanksgiving! When Lillian jumped around when your were brushing her teeth, was that her version of throwing a fit? I’ve been watching since you guys got her and I’m sure there’s videos of her getting upset, but I can’t remember any off hand. I’m always interested in see the “hard” times of monkey ownership along with the good because it gives us a good idea of the hard work you put into it. I think it also helps potential owners see that everything isn’t always perfect. If you can remember a video, can you reply with the link please? If there isn’t any, maybe a new video of a challenging moment with Lillian or even a montage of those moments would be interesting to see. Thank you for sharing!
Hi PlayerZ United, No, I don't have a video of Lillian throwing a fit. She just doesn't. She is very even tempered. She gets excited sometimes, but in a playful manner and she will tell us and show us when she doesn't like something and we listen to her so it never has escalated. I don't think she feels like she has to overreact. Gracie, on the other hand is very opinionated lol. She hasn't thrown a fit but we are learning how to listen to her as well. We are really striving to let her always know her opinion matters but at the same time letting her know we are the ones she must learn from. She too is a very smart and loving girl so I think she will catch on quickly. That was a really good question. I will say that when we adopted Lillian the breeder told us that monkey's never forget so to always speak to Lillian in a soft but authoritative manner. Never to spank or yell at her and never to be rough or show agitation or anger. That was the best advice he could have given. That is why you all will always see us speaking gently to the girls. I don't know where you are from but there are a lot of breeders. You just have to find one closest to you. If I could give any advice it would be to not buy one from an individual, make sure it is a breeder because there are a lot of scammers out there. Have a great day! 💕

This was a really cool video! I liked how you were in it Judy! It was nice seeing you and seeing how much the girls just adore you and your face to face interactions. Lillian is SO SO good with Gracie, and that it something so cute and special. Lol, while I watching you get your bed and stuff ready in the fast mode, I couldn't help but think how cool and nice it would be to REALLY be able to be that fast with getting stuff like that done! haha, I sure would love it. Couldn't help but laugh and totally relate to the part where you were brushing Lillian's teeth, it looked just like me trying to get my 3 yr old's teeth all brushed and cleaned! @Kristie Thompson - agree that when one is considering any sort of pet ownership, be it for dogs or cats or snakes or what ever type of animal, an owner ought to thoroughly vet each breed/species as in the US alone there are hundreds of thousands of dogs and cats (each) each year abandoned, picked up and put to death. These animals, as well as those in the wild, have symbiotic relationships with humans and we also need to see that whatever it is that we do does not harm them yet not interfere in others or the lives of the animals just because we do not like something. Facts do not care about feelings. Good day.

I wanted to reprimand you for having pet monkeys because I know through research and study that this isn't the best type of environment for any primates. They belong with their troop/family. But, I can't with you. This was such a lovely video. So sweet. I can see the love and compassion you have for these two sweet girls. And I also can see the love and trust these babies have for you. They are so healthy looking, show no signs of stress and no signs of abuse. I guess what fits your situation here is that "sometimes rules are meant to be broken." few people are capable of caring for monkeys well this family is the best at caring for them they don't treat the monkeys as miniature humans covered in fur for example. the owners take pains to feed the monkeys nutritious food Search for their other videos for more information about what the monkeys are fed

Yeah, she thinks there are people in the camera, lol. I am glad you didn't say 3 monkeys in the bed 😀👍 lol. No, I don't get up at 3, I am not sure where that came from. Sometimes I go to bed at 3 or 4 and sometimes 10 or 11. My hours just have to fit my day, lol.
Judy I was wondering if girls go through the same thing when puberty comes the aggression and ect. I know Lillian is only four but have you inquired or heard?
Lillian and other female capuchins hit puberty around 3 1/2 years old. Males hit puberty later. Lillian hit puberty months ago. I thought she did and so I called a breeder and explained what I saw and he told me that she had hit puberty and it was exactly the right time. As far as aggression goes, no, not at all. She is very sweet and hasn't changed a bit. We were afraid she might and so we talked with a primate vet and our breeder who said getting her spayed was a 50/50 chance that she might not be aggressive but that if she wasn't showing signs of aggression now that we didn't have anything to worry about, that made us feel better because she just gets sweeter and smarter by the day. Having Lillian Louise and Gracie takes a life of complete dedication. How do you take vacations? Idk if your son is home or is away at college. Not sure of his age. Do you take vacations only that you can take them both along on.. ie a camper. Can I ask what a room like Lillians costs to construct. I would imagine quite a bit. Sorry for all the questions but I ask them with all due respect for you and your family.
We don't take many vacations, not because of the girls but because we just don't. We have a large piece of land that we spend time at and camp and such but the girls go with us. My two oldest sons live on their own and Brandon is still at home. He is 17 so his friends and fun comes first now, lol. Billy and the boys built Lillian's playroom from scratch. I am not sure what it cost to build it. It really wasn't too bad on the cost though, as I remember. It did take a lot of work to build it though. No problem about the questions :) We hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!

No, Gracie didn't get cold. I had her wrapped in a blanket under the covers and against me. Lillian likes to sleep on top of the blanket sometimes, wrapped up in her own blanket she also wears night clothes so we can attach the leash to her. So her night clothes are for 2 reasons.
Omg I just love Lillian & Gracie. I have follow Lillian for a long time. I love your family. I would love to have a monkey one day when I have the time to devote to it. Or even work with them. I have seen alot of other channels and you are truly the best.

I totally understand the bottle for security for lillian...are monkeys able to get what's called bottle rot of there teeths as a child is??.. or maybe inner ear infection from laying with the bottle...but I saw she's not laying with bottle...but the teeth??
