Ive only seen Lyly when shes older so i love seeing the videos of her as a baby. One thing i noticed mom did right from the start was giving her something to eat before a bath. Her pouches are full so she can munch on food while bathing which is probably why she is barely fussy. Very smart!! I wish there were more monkey parents like you🖤
Lyly is never put into the bath with a diaper on. Only bottoms & that might be due the fact she was a baby and most likely sensitive to warmer and cooler temperatures. So her mom probably does that to help her adjust to the warmer temperature where she is likely to be the most sensitive. Also, Lyly isnt sad. She is content. Her head is up and she is looking around. She isn't crying or screaming or trying to get out of the tub. She isn't sucking on her fingers or excessively scratching. She is interactive and engaging with her mom. These are all signs of a happy, healthy, well taken care of baby macaque. Its OBVIOUS how loved Lyly is and that she is being properly taken care of. This woman is a great monkey parent. I wish all monkeys parents were like you & a few others here on youtube. There wouldnt be any monkeys suffering at the hands of vile humans.

That's the most ridiculous thing Ive ever read. She's not sad she is content. If she was sad she would be folding in on herself with her head all the way down, constantly. She's looking around and isn't being fussy. She isn't crying or screaming or trying to get out of the tub. She's not sucking on her fingers or scratching a lot. All signs that the baby isn't stressed and is happy. Actually research their behavior like I have and you'll know what the ACTUAL signs are of a sad baby macaque.
