There you go feed him more processed sugar filled garbage. He doesn't eat it right away because he's confused on what it is. Monkeys eat fruits vegetables, insects, eggs, lizards, tree bark, things that they can forage for and are healthy for their bodies. You are just getting him started on a road to diabetes and yes it's common amongst pet monkeys because people want to feed them the garbage that they eat, however much of it they cannot digest properly, such as cows milk and fried foods, the fat content cannot be broken down by their digestive system so they just get bloated from gas and diarrhea. Then when they get accustomed to sugary foods that's all they want much like humans they get overweight and diabetic. But whatever feed him more shit ...actually that would probably be healthier for him than what you are feeding him.
