Ppl who think you can only love on and baby them are the ones that end up getting rid of them or get injured by them later. Monkeys are hierarchy and dominance related animals, they don't live off love and care. If you don't show it who's boss when it's young then it will try to take over as dominant. A slap or pich is nothing, their mothers will bite, drag them by the tail, and throw/slam them to discipline and curb unwanted behaviors.

@JMcGhee1234 I'd say humans have a pretty good handle on control of animals, irrespective of size. Cows, horses, hogs, etc have been controlled by humans for centuries. Even the nondomesticated animals are regularly controlled by placement in zoos, rehabilitation centers, wildlife refugee areas, and so on. Size means very little when humans have a trait that is far superior to giant teeth, razor sharp claws, incredible speed, venom glands, large muscle mass, or any other features various animals have that can do us harm. A complex and highly developed brain.

And he will pay for it. These tree rats get really aggressive and without fear or discipline he will pay the price or maybe his child will it will most definitely attack abd be very aggressive once it gets older. If it's doesn't fear him he better look out fie himself or his child. But having said that once it gets to that age like most of these tree rats it will be dropped into the wild to either die of starvation or from being attacked by wild monkey's. He will just get another one and 5he process goes on. If they don't fear you you are destined to feel it's wrath or worse you child 3ill.
