They are weaned in the wild at around 9 mos of age. And their teeth erupt at a very early age, some are born with their teeth erupted. When people use the term "milk", I think most are referring to an appropriate, lactose free formula, not cows milk.

@@VeronicaWeber-nn4qc Babies are weaned as early as 3 months in the wild. Especially if the mother is pregnant again. But, Miker is old enough to be weaned. He should be getting all the nutrients he needs from his diet. This is not the wild, he is not foraging and that formula is not his mother's milk.

@pattykelly6621 So they typically have give birth twice a year? And his diet appears to include a great deal if candy, cake, etc. I wouldn't think that would provide the nutrition he would need.

Give him more ere milk, that's not enough, remember his a baby, needs lots of milk for his growth.

That's right, he's a small monkey and you can't give him a lot of milk at once, he'll just throw it up. That's why they get fed so often.
