I LOVE the names Luca and Aria but I hate how popular they’ve become 😭 Isn’t it funny how a name just “doesn’t feel right” I had made baby name lists since I was a child and then when finding out I got pregnant we chose Marlie for a girl but after like a week I was thinking I like this but this doesn’t feel like THIS baby’s name… We ended up naming our daughter Vienna which was never ever on a baby list I had ever made and we absolutely love it 🥰
Totally agree, but I do wonder if my Mum had never called her dog Luca if I’d have stuck with it haha! I had never heard of Aria until “Pretty Little Liars”, so I think that and apparently Game of Thrones had an Arya (I’ve not seen it!) so it’s become soooo much more popular. I’ve just never been one for wanting a name where there will be multiple others at school, I always loved that as a child I only ever encountered 2 other Ambers until I was an adult. Love Vienna! Xx

My partner was exactly the same when we were picking our names, thinking about the bullies, i like you didn't really think that way either 🤣 We really struggled with picking names because my partners surname is Tracey so finding names that go with that is so difficult 👎
It can be so hard! I'm glad he did though - there were some that he immediately said and it stuck in my head immediately, and we all know how teenagers can be!
I like Francesco rather than Franco ( I associate it with the Spanish dictator), Enzo is lovely and would be hard to shorten. Leo/Leon is really popular! Viola for a girl is pretty, Bianca and Alessia are cute too.
For years I have low key wished either my husband or I had some Italian in us so we could get away with using Gioia or Valentina for a girl 🤣🤣 so I hope you’ve picked one of those, I love them!

I love Arlo, Ezra, Franco, Vincenzo, Alessia, Sienna (I like it with the 2 ns) & Olivia If you like Olivia why about Oriana, is italian and more unusual I also like Fiorentina & Fiorenza similar to Fiorella (where i live Fiorella is common so i know some girls with that name & ruined the name for me) or Florencia like the city (Flo or Flora could be a nickname) I also like Vivia, Allegra, Faustina, Francesca, Luciana, Verona, Emilia, Gioia, Giulia, Ciro, Piero, Valentino, Bruno, Massimo, Rocco, Renzo, Benicio, Salvatore (ps Marco is such a cool name, like Im naming my 1st son that I dont care what anyone says... )
I really liked Oriana but we have an Ariana in the family and I felt it was too similar and people would call her Ariana accidentally! Also LOVE Fiorenza but Marco wasn’t a fan! Marco is a great name I agree haha! Xx
