I crashed a couple more times because of lack of line tension. So I added a penny to the nickel I already had for tip weight, this seems to help a good deal.
Thanks for posting this. Could you tell me how you fastened the battery to the plane? I have made a couple 1/2 a planes with a battery bay in the wing. I would like to retrofit some of our old glow models to electric without making a mess.
Are you able to send a link on what kind of electric motor you put on this? I have a couple of electric planes but they came with what motor to put on. With kits like this there isn't any guidance on what you should put on the plane.
I am using Brodak stooge but for 1/2A I have a piece of line with a loop in it on the plane and that goes through the pin in the stooge. Using the flip down portion in the stooge did not work too well in small planes.
