Britney fans consider it one of her bbest at songs lol she should give more of a listen. But maybe we feel that way because it’s your typical glossy pop mid temp ballad of that time
I feel the need to share this fun fact: Soda Pop was actually featured in the very first Pokémon movie back in 1999! I think with that context, the song becomes better and gives it something to grip onto that gives it more life and gives the sound a (for lack of a better phrase) reason to exist? Idk, after that it became even more enjoyable to me and started to help make it stand out more as a song by itself. Hope that brightened your day, even just a little :D
It's so interesting to see you reacting to this! I was 12 when Baby One More Time came out and it was the first album I ever bought. The nostalgia I feel when I hear these songs is INTENSE. But I imagine someone who was born 10 years after me would be thrown off by the 90's sound in a similar way that I am when I hear Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, or New Kids on the Block. When you don't grow up with something, it can sound silly but as a preteen in the late 90's, I was dead ass serious listening to Soda Pop.
i can totally see that! it’s like me with one direction. i grew up listening to “up all night” so i love it for the nostalgia. if i heard it for the first time today i might have a different reaction lol
This great honest reaction! She was 16 when she released this album , it’s definitely a cute 90’s pop album but it’s my fav in her discography her second album oop’s had a lot more sass which I like but her best imo are in the zone , blackout , circus, femme fatale & glory so I look forward to see ur reaction on those !!
I only got into this album last yr and have it in my car ATM... I will still love you is on repeat! Such a jam! I think it should be called 'stars are falling' tho
Girlll, Thanx for reacting to Britney Spears 🥴 the holy Trinity of her records are: Blackout, In the Zone and Glory. Ps. Blackout it's on the list of the best 500 albums from the rolling stones and it's her only album to be on the rock and roll hall of Fame, so yeah even when that record came out on a very dark moment of Britney's life it's soooo good. ❤️❤️
Don Phillip was on the US version of the XFactor where Britney was the judge and Britney regretably turned him down. You can see on her face she felt really bad and she was like "I know him!"
The Beat Goes on is a cover (the original was recorded by Sonny&Cher). Britney said on a live show of this song "when I heard that song I knew I had to sing it so this is for you Cher."
Her next album (Oops I did it again) is even better, especially on “Where Are You Now” you can really hear her vocal ability, then Britney is fantastic production vise, and In The Zone and Blackout are pop bibles
I have a lot of nostalgia for this album, as I was in my late teens when it was released. Not her best album, I would definitely be skipping half of the songs if I were to listen now. But Baby, Crazy, Beat Goes On and Autumn Goodbye are all stone-cold bangers. Your ranking was solid.
She was 15 when she signed her first record deal...and ...BOMT... came out when she was 16...by the time she was 18 she was already the biggest pop star in the worl...with celebrity fans like Madonna...Micheal Jackson and the rolling stones...so yeah...
Can’t wait till you listen to the rest of her albums… it’s only 8 more! Lol. Don’t forget to go in chronologically order! And for this album the singles in order were 1. Baby one more time 2. Sometimes 3. Crazy 4. Born to make you happy 5. FTBOMBH
Don’t worry it takes time to love this album Lolol it’s funny cause your facial expressions was exactly mine when I was just over the sappy 90s music but you’ll grow to love it
ITS BRITNEY BITCH!!! OMG so excited to watch this video, I'm a Britney fan so I've been waiting for this for so long! I'm really excited for ur Britney, In The Zone, Blackout, Circus and Femme Fatale album reactions! (Also if you could, please react to *all* the bonus tracks for the albums, for example for Blackout, Outta This World, for Circus, Rockboy, Amnesia, Quicksand and Trouble and for Femme Fatale Scary. These tracks aren't included in the deluxe versions of streaming services (for example Spotify), and I don't want u to miss any of these :))
Your content is top tier This is my least favorite Britney albums, even tough I love it You will see that with each album she gets better and better, Blackout is one of my favorites albums of all time, and In The Zone, Femme Fatale and Glory are amazing too. I love each one of her albums, forever the princess of pop
@@BethThereseReacts its alright. React to her albums chronologically to see her growth as an artist: Baby One More Time Oops! I did it Again Britney In the zone Blackout Circus Femme Fatale Britney Jean Glory
Great reaction! This is one of the weakest Britney albums (obviously, since it is the first one). You should definitely react to others and you will see the growth😊
Okey i Will totally honest with you but when i was a kid i used to write love letters to some girls Who i fell in love, using the lyrics from this album 😄😄😄 Then i became gay 🤷🏻😄
Her best albums are GLORY, BLACKOUT, and IN THE ZONE. her worst songs are probably baby, oops, toxic lmaoo I would be fine if she never performed them ever again 🤣🤣🤣 as a huge Britney fan myself what doesn’t help is they are often played when news coverage talks about her. Which further pushes this narrative that she sings in a way that she really doesn’t…
