Hey everyone! Welcome back to our channel. Today, we’re going to show you how to create a super adorable baby peplum top with sharara or gharara bottoms. It’s going to be trendy, cute, and perfect for any special occasion. So, let’s get started!
Step 1: Materials
First things first, gather all the materials you’ll need:
• Fabric for the top and bottom (choose something soft and comfortable)
• Measuring tape
• Scissors
• Sewing machine (or needle and thread if you’re sewing by hand)
• Pins
• Elastic (for the waistband)
• Buttons or other embellishments (optional)
Step 2: Measurements
Take accurate measurements of the baby’s waist, hips, chest, and length from waist to ankle. Use these measurements to draft patterns for both the peplum top and the sharara/gharara bottoms.
Step 3: Cutting the Fabric
Using the measurements and patterns, carefully cut out the fabric pieces for the peplum top and the sharara/gharara bottoms. Make sure to leave some seam allowance.
Step 4: Stitching the Top
Now, let’s start with the peplum top. Sew the front and back pieces together at the shoulders and sides. Then, hem the neckline, armholes, and bottom edge. Next, create a casing for the elastic at the waist by folding over the fabric and stitching, leaving a small opening to insert the elastic.

Step 6: Making the Sharara/Gharara Bottoms
For the bottoms, sew the inner leg seams together. Then, hem the bottom edges of each leg. Next, create a casing for the elastic at the waist, leaving a small opening to insert the elastic.
Step 7: Attaching the Bottoms to the Top
Now, it’s time to attach the bottoms to the top. Match the waistline of the bottoms to the bottom edge of the peplum top, right sides together. Pin and stitch them together, making sure to stretch the elastic as you sew to gather the fabric.
Step 8: Finishing Touches
Once everything is stitched together, try the outfit on your baby to ensure a good fit. Make any necessary adjustments. Finally, if desired, add buttons, bows, or other embellishments to personalize the outfit.
