I think with the intelligence question, I wouldn't say you can 'become smarter'. You can study harder, more effectively and hence achieve better grades, but that doesn't mean you've become more intelligent. I totally agree though that everyone can improve a lot with the right method of learning for them, I wish this was explored a lot more at school. I feel like lots of potential is missed when someone appears unintelligent in school because they can't pass exams, but they may just be much more suited for another type of assessment/ learning.

Nature/Nurture is like 15/75 imo. You can be genetically predisposed to certain inclinations but the way you’re raised can change your nature. Also nurture isn’t limited to parents but school, community, friends, etc. So you’re going to pick up way more from around you.
