hay i remember i hear that line before it Paul Mccartney saying something like that about slaughterhouses how there are horrible to see and how it bad to eat meat
pdude1911 im pretty sure there will still be people who eat meat, look at the butchers and the ones who work at the slaughterhouse they still eat meat they don’t care
Regardless of the negative comments this is one of my favourite vids I love the peoples reaction thinking this could be really happening in front of them . I love this channel just keep them coming..lol.
Well there's a difference, The baby pig was still alive and had bones, organs, teeth and all of the other nasty stuff, And it all suddently dissapeared without a sound
We all were raised 'eat your meat' like there is no 'alternative'... Today there is 'plenty' of alternatives and every one of them brings a positive change: weight loss when overweight, environmental preserving, animal welfare and respect, a future for our children, longer living and less meat related diseases (cancer, high choleterol blood pressure, parkinson disease...) and... love between all living things on this planet
Seeing that woman holding the piglet at the end made me sick, she was totally fine with it being ground up alive, then as soon as she finds out that its a prank she holds it like, really?!?!?!? I mean how does one do this?!?!?!? Does anyone understand that thought process?!?!?
@Harry Banner yeah, everyone should have to go out and kill their own meat. You also can't drink milk unless you milk the cow yourself. No eggs unless you raise the chickens. No flour or and fruits/vegetables unless you farm it yourself. The elderly and children will just have to go hungry.
There are TONS of delicious vegetarian foods to eat. You can make Italian, Mexican, Asian, pretty much any kind of food you like without meat. Get a vegetarian cookbook for ideas. I love going to Indian and Thai restaurants, they always have super yummy vegetarian dishes.
Let the animals live. Happy to eat sausages but when the animals is right in front of them it makes them sick. People that happily eat animals make me sick. Go vegan....
Seriously? This isn’t 2005 anymore. “Bacon is life” is such a cringe worthy sentence. Really all this bacon hype is plain stupid, and you know it yourself. NOW GROW THE FUCK UP :) If you would like ro prevent cancer, heart diseases etc., improv your own over-all health, and do something good for the environment too - consider switching to a plant based diet. I guess you’re one hell of a bigot and already calls bullshit, but try doing some self study on the subject. The reason why I vent vegan was mainly my own health. And I have experienced mind blowing short-term improvements in my own body since.
Most “free-range” animals are still subject to bodily mutilations such as debeaking, tail-docking, ear-notching, or dehorning. They suffer from overcrowding living conditions, denial of veterinary care, and abusive handling. They die a violent death.
To the people who finish this video, think about this guys. Don't leave and not spare a thought for the life that was tortured and ultimately murdered for someone's palate. The ethical side is only a small portion of why people refuse to consume or wear products derived from animal flesh, skin or innards. The destruction of natural resources and the huge amount of water and grain it takes to feed animals bred for livestock is devastating. Us here in the western world cannot see it because we are able to enjoy the products of this destructive culture. Millions of animals are bred into existence for the sole purpose of feeding them, and ultimately killing them. If you could picture the amount of grain and water it takes to feed the billions of livestock in this world - for years and years, it would not surprise you to realise why there are so many starving people in this world. It is because the grain that could be used to feed people is being fed to the animals, whom are then cut up and cooked and put into plastic bags for consumption. Fluids harvested from animals is the same deal. Even if we're not killing them, the conditions in milk and egg factories are brutal, barbaric and inhumane. Animals used for their fluids or eggs do not get released into wild, grassy meadows to live out the rest of their days. They are sent to the slaughterhouses to be killed, regardless. The health benefits are a whole other level, just look at the conditions milk, meat, eggs - everything is packaged in and you'll be shocked at the very least. This is also why people go vegan, not vegetarian - a lot of people are confused on that matter. Use google guys, and RU-vid, look at the videos of slaughterhouses and where your animal food, fur or fluids come from. It is impossible to fit all this into a comment, but we have the internet to research and educate ourselves on topics which we are not taught about, and never talked about. I guarantee you, most of us were the same, we were brought up eating meat. Yet thanks to the internet nowadays, people do stumble upon the truth. Please just look at the videos on what really goes on with animal agriculture. It is also not hard or expensive to go vegan. Just do the research, start of with vegan youtubers, just a qquick search on google can get you anywhere. Please do not ignore this.
In certain countries, like the US, the use of terms like "humane" is not regulated. Any company can slap that label on their product. Most animals labeled "grass-fed", "cage-free", etc, still suffer terribly. Don't believe me? Google "Humane Myth"
Wild berries grow where I live, but the season for them is short. The wild berries are quite tasty, but there is only a short time every year when they are fully grown and ripe. The few fruit trees that are in the area also have a short season for edible fruit production. I'd also have to learn what wild leafy greens are edible (eg. dandelion, lamb's quarter, ...)
It's not a food resource problem You might want to look up organic biointensive farming methods. This method of agriculture could easily produce 3x the amount of food the world needs while also replenishing the soil. Also, there are methods of power production which do not require fossil fuels or contribute to pollution (on a side note some experts believe that our oil reserves are grossly underestimated). Our problems have more to do with resource management and education than overpopulation.
