We will never agree on all things, but for me I see all of the LOVE the two of you have for each other and your children and for them that is what they really remember. I teach kids and of all the things they talk about it is the things that are traditional and a part of their families. In the time that yours kids are growing up getting their ears pierced is no different than getting cell phones, The way you cherish them is what is important to them. Sadly too many people are not as dedicated to their kids as you two are so KEEP IT UP!!!
A little correction, once your piercing is fully healed it will not close up no matter how long you don't wear the earring, speaking from experience bc I got my ears pierced at 6yo, wore them for a couple of years, then stopped wearing them completely for a couple of years and just recently started wearing them again(I'm 21), and the holes are still there.
Wrong. Got mine pierced as a baby and wore them religiously till the age of 12. Had to take them out for a sport and dint put them back in for about 3-4 years. Ears were closed up with scar tissue.
@@PaulaThomas-pc8gj I'm sorry that you feel that way, I totally see how it could be annoying to have a permanent thing on your body that you don't like☹️ Fortunately I like my earrings, i just didn't wear them for a while out of laziness, couldn't make myself go and get some quality new earrings 😅 Although I did get them pierced later when I could actually have a say, so I do think that's more ideal, but I also do get that's it's a bit more complicated when the cultural side is in play when people do it young 🤔

This is a careless thing to do to your child.anything could happen after this,the earrings could get caught on something and rip out,the child could feel the earrings and pull them out and possibly even put them in his or her mouth,but parents don’t think about that,they only care about their own selfish vanity.
