BABY SHOWER PLANNING | WE'RE HAVING PROBLEMS! 

I do't know why but hearing "my sister Nichole" had me crying. I freaking love how she's a part of your family even though she's not legally adopted. Shows family is not defined by rules and words, but by love!

My heart melted when you said "my sister Nichole"-I love how you all embrace her! When you got all the lights up the way you wanted it, you should have taken a pic for next time! I love that the whole family pitches in! Things should come with a "you're doing it wrong" alert! 3rd times the charm! Love the final centrepieces-so cute!! That sign is beautiful! The balloon wall is awesome!

Love everything about this video ! Love the centerpieces, what I do as a party planner is put atleast 1 water balloon inside the boxes so it can hold if it’s a windy day . Also for a balloon wall try doing 4 balloon columns about 6ft tall and when done put them all together side by side and tie them with fishing line . I don’t know how you all do the heat without the wind. Kansas is so so so windy and I’m thankful every hot day for it. Some future tips for you for windy outdoor parties. Use a twin size sheet as a table cloth. Put rocks in the bottom of your center pieces and use rubber bands to secure balloons a little more or small zip ties for the really windy days.

Kylie you should just DIY some little wooden boxes with plexiglass and wood just like those flimsy little boxes so you have them for the next baby shower and you can use it in decorating for the holidays as well

I bought the same balloon pump and had the same issue!!! Stretching the balloon first helped...and then I said how did I ever live without it!

Another thing you could've done since the frame was too big is..just centered the picture so there was a little space at the bottom and a little at the top so then it would kinda look like it was supposed to be that way instead of having all the extra space at the top.

So, for the little balloons, stretch them by hand before blowing up with the machine.

I think it turned out amazing! Balloons outside can be persnickety! The exact same thing happened to me! Part of my business is balloon bouquets and arches. I had six bouquets by a pool and they were a tangled mess and nearly fell in the pool…thank goodness for understanding customers! Wind and heat will make life hard sometimes for sure! I live in Texas so we don’t get QUITE as hot as y’all do, but you managed perfectly!

So beautiful and I love the colors. But as someone with severe latex allergy makes me so sad I won’t ever be able to have these for my daughters parties or attend any parties that have balloon arches (I’ve had to miss many lately as this is a huge trend) wish there was a latex free alternative besides Mylar balloons.

Imagine growing up in foster care and an environment where you feel wholly unwanted and unsafe, separated from your siblings, only to then find out that your brother was adopted by people who not only love and WANT him..but love and want you, exactly how you are. That must mean the world to her to hear you refer to her as your sister. Truth is..you dont have to. Many wouldn't. But the concept from Shelly and Jared of "if you need to be loved, we wanna love you" has clearly rubbed off on you.

You wanna know what's really cool about adoption? Her kid will never know any different. To them, you all will be the only family they've ever known. Their family, from day one. You'll only EVER be known as Aunt Kylie. Shelly and Jared will ONLY ever be grandma and grandpa. That child will grow up looking at her extended family no differently than a kid looks at their bio family. It just seems cool to me to think about. You have this generation who joins the family later in life and everyone had to adjust and learn together and build that family. But when an adopted child has a child..that child bridges that gap in a way. Because they know no different. Shelly and Jared and all the kids ARE the ONLY family they will know. That's kinda cool!
