I've wanted to make a baby set tutorial for a while now and I've finally done it!
These are some of the cutest cookies you may ever make. You can use any colour combinations and the designs with these cutters are endless!

*please note, I've mixed a lot of colours together as I try to work with what I have. Sometimes I try to make colours and they don't work out, so I try adding different ones until I like the outcome.

It’s so therapeutic to watch your videos! You make it look so easy, but anyone who’s tried (and is not a professional) knows it’s so so easy. Do you know what I love about your video you explain so well in detail and you also show it in real time. I’m super slow with cookies and when I see the videos of them looking super quick I feel like I’m doing something wrong. It just proves how time consuming and sugar cookie decorating is. thank you for such good detail

What great timing for me! I have been watching and watching your wonderful informative videos! I got my AXAA mini + projector yesterday! I have made the cookies TODAY! Since it is only the first time, I am very pleased with them. I want to practice outlining, flooding, and writing on these cookies, so this video is PERFECT! I have read where you talked about how you store your cookies and how long they will last stored. But I can't find it (it was in the comments of one of your videos). I do so hate to bother you with more information, but would you please share the information again. I would also like to know how long the icing will last in the bowl in the refrigerator and in the piping bags. Thank you so VERY much! Making cookies for my granddaughter's first birthday in August!

How exciting you got a projector!!! It literally makes any set possible, I love it so much! Have you seen my writing tutorial? It talks about using the projector and about consistencies for writing as well. Cookies last usually about 2 weeks in heat sealed bags or an air tight container. They do last longer but then they are less fresh. If you don't eat them in that time or make them ahead of time, you can freeze them up to a few months. Just make sure not to open the container until they're full defrosted so there's no condensation which could make your icing wet (and you wouldn't want that). I've frozen cookies many times and they are just as delicious as fresh ones! And what a lucky granddaughter, I'm sure she'll be so happy to have your cookies 😁

Not that I know of. But there is a printer that prints edible images onto the icing!

I usually take a picture on my phone or screenhsot and then I'll put my phone sideways so the picture is larger! What projector do you have? And do you have it on a stand high enough?

Question. Do you do the entire set at the same time? Or if you’re making more than one of each design,( i.e. bib, rattle etc). do you do all the bibs one day, all the rattles one day etc? How does that affect the icing? Do you need to make the icing all over again every day?

I do all of the designs but over a few days! So for example I do all of the base flooding for all designs on the first day and add some details if I have time, then the next night I will add the rest od the details and sometimes the 3rd night too. The icing is fine for a while, I like to put it in the fridge when not in use as it keeps the consistency better and separates less. Sometimes when left on the counter, the icing does separate after a day or 2 and needs to be massaged in the bag for it to come together again

I bought the 4 inch one! It's maybe on the bigger size, but I prefer doing word cookies bigger than smaller as they're easier to pipe and everyone loves them and are a staple in the sets!
