Baby Step into a Successful Homeschool Year (or any other big project)

Let's work on moving the needle daily. That requires letting go of perfectionism (ahem ... pride) and taking one step at a time to get to our goals. The dripping of water wears away stone.

HAPPY 14th BIRTHDAY for Chloe! Great idea for baby steps to accomplish big tasks! I'm researching the reading supplements of MOTHER OF DIVINE GRACE Homeschool and found there are 251 listed for 10th Grade. First I look for the audiobooks to know the general idea. Hopefully a little every day will get me to the end zone. Many heavenly blessings to all!

Please detailed homeschool plan and even curriculum picks! We are homeschooling and love it !! Also. Love charlotte mason! The book Mother Culture really helped my mindset shift. And moving the needle, starting knitting projects now instead of into fall when we need it and painting our home!

You know, I still haven't read Mother Culture! Right now I'm pre-reading history and Chloe's geography. I love being fellow student alongside my kids. I'm learning so much!

I started discovering this last spring. I teach online in addition to homeschling my kids and I'm always behind and overwhelmed. This Lent I worked on going to bed and not staying up working until 2am. I had to let go and realize it wasn't ever going to be perfect and try to remember that I can do all things through Christ. Offer that desire to control and finish everything to Him. I would love to see your timetable and more about Charlotte Mason, especially for older years...how do you do a lesson with kids when you aren't reading the living books to them any more? I feel like there is so much more out there on how to do lessons in the early years.

I'm trying to really love the process because I know it's not for long. We've been loving the afternoon TBG time and we still do a little math and a little handwriting in the summer. And of course a read-aloud.
