Baby Tortoises Hatching Out of the Ground

Ike is always doing 1 of 2 things. Eating or giving the pickle. Ike is living the best life.

I think looking for naturally born tortoise on the guarden is the pinnacle of someone who likes tortoises.

I love how half the babies were trying to escape and the other half just took a nap

It is so crazy to me that those turtles will likely still be going strong when everyone who has watched this video is in a casket or on their deathbed.

Imagine being born a baby tortoise: scared. alone. hungry. then, all of the sudden, a warm voice: “Hey buddy!” and whether you know it or not, you’re gonna live the rest of your life as best as any tortoise ever has ❤

I'm from AZ too and my neighbor found a baby sulcata tortoise walking in her yard. We were very confused about where it came from. No one near us has reptiles but some friends and I. So seeing this baby we decided to walk around looking for more as well to see if there was someone with tortoises that was near. We didn't find anything, no babies, and not anyone who owed tortoises too. There was talk last year about someone's pet getting out but I had no idea if that was near me or not or if there are just wild tortoises living near my area that someone released. The baby still has a yolk sack on it when we found it. I decided to keep it as I have the space for it when it is bigger and experience with reptiles already. We are just confused about where they could have come from. It's been about a week now and still no sign of others. But the one I have is doing well.

I bet that was so much fun going around looking for baby turtles. I loved how one of the baby tortoise saw you from between the wall and a building and came running to you like mama. Lol 😂

You can just tell how much they care for the tortoises. The love in their voice when they say “hey buddy” 🥹

Ike is the busiest tortoise 🐢 i have ever seen. He gets that weed whacker going in almost every video!!!! Hahaha

This is so precious, all these babies have no idea the childhood they're about to have. I would absolutely carry a baby tortoise in my pocket except that's probably not healthy for them and they'd pee in my hoodie. But just imagine having a buddy at the ready, that would be incredible. I know longer content can be difficult to produce, and it may not get as much traction the shorts initially. However, I personally love these longer videos.

This is the only kind of treasure hunt I want! Words can't describe the joy I feel each time you find a baby tortoise. Truthfully I'd watch hours of just this and lament on how short it was.

Ike is living his best life! You could be a flipping spotter! Those babies blend so well but you spot them easily and i would feel so bad for accidentally stepping on one I'm so glad they have you taking care of them!

This is the weirdest gardening harvest tutorial I've ever seen and I love it.

I feel like this is what my yard looks like with wild Florida gopher turtles and always having to lookout for the babies. My property was a haven for gophers when I bought it but the last couple of years they have really started to flourish.

I just found this channel yesterday and I’m obsessed. It’s so interesting and fun to watch. The only thing I would say I would change is for some more RU-vid videos. It’s really fun watching the shorts but you can only watch so much. Overall the video he made so far are great just wish there were more.
