I grew up in my parents pet store and had the luck to work with the parrots. We had a Citron-Crested Cockatoo and a Scarlett Macaw and several other parrots over the years. They are beautiful creatures and have unique personalities!
It’s so heartbreaking 💔 that the average bird will go through ten different homes in the early stages of their lives which is so difficult and traumatic to these birds who form very strong bonds with their owners please people as cute and adorable as they are they require a lot of love and care time and effort these birds often will out live some humans so just make sure if your considering getting a bird please do your research and commit yourself for the long haul their are tons of birds and animals for that matter that need to be rescued and deserve a safe and loving forever home they definitely are worth it ❤
I wish more people loved birds and animals half as much as you do , the world would be a better place. I have four dogs who are now fast asleep next to me under the covers in bed , its very cold here at the moment , i also have two love birds who have a massive parrot cage that is never locked the have their own room , and my dogs 🐕 and birds 🐦 have the best of everything, because i work a second job they come first !!!!!☺️🇬🇧
Hi! My 1st time here & I LOVE your babies! ❤😍. This has been so interesting! I have learned a lot about these babies, so thanks for sharing this!! I’m subb’d w all notif’s & look forward to your next update! TY 🙏💞👍🐥
I put 1X6 planks on top of my cabinets and on top of the curtains. I put chew toys there too. It has saved my cabinets, curtains and window trim in 100% good condition.
Cool, do you leave them in the bowls all the time or just when you feed them? Plus do you have any problems with wood shavings ie. babies ingesting the wood shavings? Thanks in advance. I'm feeding 2 baby Umbrellas that are about the same age and I noticed when I put them in larger containers there legs seem to splay a bit.
They are so loud, your apple watch warns you the sound has reached over a certain decibel and to be careful. They screeeeeeech. And soooometimes don't stop until they've gotten what they want, which is usually just your attention. Haha!
where I live there are dozens of these birds and in the summer when we get thunder storms they scream and complain about the hard rain. It's funny, they sound like they are swearing and cursing about getting wet.
Stumbled upon your channel by accident and i immediately subscribed, I absolutely love Cockatoo’s they are so beautiful! I wouldn’t have one as my neighbour would go nuts, I have two very beautiful lovebirds My female has laid three eggs and they are due in two weeks time. I have always wanted a cockatoo but I am semi detached and I know how loud they are so I dream about moving to a larger house on the mountains. How on earth people clip their wings is disgusting it is a form of cruelty! I can’t wait to find out the sex of the beautiful baby!
@@Sparrow.in.the.treetop my youngest son loves birds so I already know he would care for them , he is twenty years old! I have lovebirds which live long lives he has already arranged to have them! I have tarantulas he would never keep them as they freak him out, a shop will take them but they don’t live extremely long lives, only females live longer the males die much younger!
❤❤❤ They are perfect!😍😍😍😘and you are so great, so loving with them♥️ I love birds so much, beautiful babies, they are worthy of all money in the world. So true with clipping feathers, it's a cruelty
I stand by the wing clipping thing as well, except if I have a lil dude thats way too clumsy to be safe, sure, theyll get clipped. Doesnt mean they will get clipped again, sometimes they just kinda stop being clumsy. I always encourage the flying tho, its so lovely to see them do what they were born to do.
@Joline-v ...little baby burbs always say they are still hungry. Their crops can look as if they will explode, but... "I hungry, I starbing! FEED ME!" 😃
When I had to feed my bird, he only took a few bites. They are supposed to get food multiple times a day. And even when they’re full, they won’t take it but the reflexes can still kick in a little. I also have to say that this person is feeding them way too quick though.
Can you please do a video demonstrating the tank setup you mentioned for like an incubator I think you said. I made a quasi one but yours sounds more elaborate and better suited than mine with just heat. Also like that you made it portable.
oh please be careful with the eyes when feeding...you are such a great dad.....cuteness overload baby triton another baby please don't leave it seems will bite baby
Oh my gosh….reminds me of hand feeding my umbrella cockatoo……so sweet. Where are you located, and what prices are your babies? I’m interested in blue/gold male, and hyacinth male
I got a goffins cocatoo as a rescue and she has been extreemly quiet the whole time I have had her. The only noise she makes is in the morning when she is dancing and ringing her bell she will occasionally let out a little squawk but thats it. When she does make her squawk sound I give her verbal encouragement but she still doesn’t vocalize other than that.
Give her a bigger non plastic container to sit in and a thick layer of hemp strawn to sit on. It is soft, warm and antibaterial. They need more space, a loving soft voice and cuddling.
I need help. I bought a grown umbrella cockatoo from a bird show. I was told he was scared from traveling and was a nice bird. He is not nice. He just likes to hiss at me. I've had him for a 1 1/2 years. I can feed him blueberries by hand bu that is the closest i can get. I want to be able to hold him. I cant even get him to step up onto a 2 inch wooden dowel. Any advice on be able to handle him without getting bit.
I do think I may have a female that will be a year old in March. She doesn’t sing 🎵 or talk like a males do… my baby had clipped wings when I purchased from pet super market but that was months ago and thank goodness he/ she has molted since purchasing and can fly now thank heavens!😅😅❤❤❤❤
Why do people always have to make stupid comments, if the baby was truly still hungry she would be screaming her head off, number to these two babies do not look abused at all. If I thought these two babies were being abused you would hear my mouth flying trust me.
Can you give me the info on where I could do a DNA sample ? And the cost? I have a cockatiel and I love mine so very much and I would love to know what gender mine is… I have just subscribed to you. I would love to get one of your babies but am sure it would be out of my price range lol 😂 ❤
They have a little spot for food called a crop. If that's full, they don't need more. It just takes a while to get to the stomach. So they will beg but they are fine 👍
❤ I dont know but I wouldn't leave that little baby to close to the other one when you walk away the feathered one is NOT to fond of that lil baby lol good thing she couldn't reach her
TOO MUCH NOISE. A friend (not a bird person) went to Australia & filmed a wild cockatoo sitting way up on a steeple SCREAMING its head off. Thats what they do!!
That bird looks to me like an Australian Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. Where are these birds coming from? This is not a Tritton. I’m also finding people are acquiring Australian Corellas and insultingly calling them Bald Eyed Cockatoos. These birds are not doing well in captivity and loosing their feathers the way they are being kept. I’m not happy seeing these videos.
