Baby Update - No Gender Reveal - Fear of losing our baby - Genetic Test Results - Turner syndrome 

*MY daughter had this same problem...she is perfectly fine...she is now 23 years old and is pregnant as we speak......*

My close friends daughter has turner syndrome and she is absolutely beautiful 😍 she has graduated high school. She is short, she started hormones at puberty, probably won't have kids but she is such a beautiful loving wonderful girl. I had "high" risk with all of my pregnancy and so has everyone else I've known. It's nerve racking but you can handle anything ❤

Jaylena, since the day we have met you have continued to inspire and amaze me. Witnessing your love for Isaac, your new life in the PNW and your baby girl grow has been a pleasure and honor for me to be a part of. Your ability to remain calm, centered, and laser focused within the turbulence is really incredible. The second that we got the pregnancy results you and I both thought the baby was a girl. I am praying and speaking into reality that she is a healthy and happy human. With Isaac as her Daddy she will be safe, well loved and a Kick Ass Bus Builder by age 5. I can't wait to meet and hold her. At the end of the day I am so fu@king excited that we are having a girl!!!!! So much Love from Base Camp XOXO

My great niece has Turner Syndrome. Her mom went through all the same worries when her daughter was born. That baby is now a sophomore in college! Other than being on the smaller size you would never know she had it. She is beautiful and leading a perfectly normal life! Praying you have a similar outcome! We had never heard of Turner Syndrome prior to her birth which was ironic since my maiden name was Turner!! Keeping you in our prayers!

Dont fret Jaylena, I couldn't tell you how many times a doctor would tell me frightening test results on the phone to only be wrong when things move along. So dont worry to much yet. Stress can affect the baby, so try to live your life normal. I know it's hard, but have faith in god! He wont let you down. Hugs and kisses. You will be alright and baby will be alright. God has you💗💗

Jaylena, please don't stress. I know, easier said than done. I can't tell you how many of my friends have been misdiagnosed with same stressful news. Your baby is a miracle baby and our Father in Heaven will protect you and baby. You will be holding your sweet baby when it's time. Love you! 💛🙏

Try to keep the faith because regardless of what the doctor's predictions are, until you meet your baby and hold her in your arms, anything is possible! I was advised to abort my baby because I was exposed to two cases of measles, but took my chances and I will be forever thankful that I followed my heart. Kathleene was born on December 22 and it was the best day of my life. She is such a blessing! Your babies fate is not written in stone, miracles can happen and my daughter is proof of that. Please, both of you try to think positive because doctors are not always right even though they think they are. God bless all three of you!

Praying for you guys, I was in the same boat as you jaylena and when I did get pregnant my little boy was diagnosed with Down syndrome, he was born perfectly healthy and he is the joy of every one lives.

Jaylena I went in for an ultrasound at 5 months. The nurses, the doctor, me....we were all laughing & excited to find out the gender of my baby. This doctors office & I have a very close relationship & they were all excited for me. Within minutes into the ultrasound I knew something was wrong. You could hear a pin drop. They sat me up while the nurse was frantically calling 911 for transportation to a hospital better equipped than our local hospital. My daughter's heart stopped beating as they were doing the ultrasound. They called my family in...it was just crazy. I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital 45 minutes away while the nurses kept a check on baby & me the ride there. I was told that if she made it she would probably have to have open heart surgery immediately after she's born. I was kept for a few days so they could monitor her. I was released with 4 appointments all Within the next 10 days. I had to see a high risk OB/GYN the rest of my pregnancy, I had to see a pediatric heart doctor twice a month, I had to have all kinds of tests done. The bad thing was they didn't know what was causing it. I was an emotional wreck to say the least. I prayed like never before. I had family & friends praying for her. Well...she was born happy & healthy, screaming to the top of her lungs full term. She is 19yrs old now. The doctors were IN COMPLETE SHOCK & called her a miracle baby. I STRONGLY BELIEVE that your little miracle baby is going to be just fine. There are a lot of false positive tests in prenatal tests. I believe y'all were blessed with this miracle baby for a reason & she is going to be perfectly fine. I know what you're going through emotionally. I do. It's a rollercoaster. I was the same way until I finally said "yanno what....whatever the outcome is, she's still alive in me & I will celebrate & be happy for that! My son had open heart surgery at 3 months old. He is now 11 on January 7th. We were advised to abort….but God. I say all this to bring some light. It’s so hard and scary, but everyone deserves a chance at life regardless of what the doctors or science says. So far he is doing amazing. Sending prayers your way! Best of luck!

Prayers for the both of you and your baby girl. I know that this is scary, but try to stay positive. My daughter was born 3 months early and was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsey. It was heart breaking but I'm here to tell you, she is AMAZING and CP is mild. If you didn't know she had it, you would never know. She's living like a regular teenager with mild differences from her peers ❤️

One day at a time Jaylena..I had my first child in my 27th week of pregnancy, with obstacles to face, every day there was always something happening..my sister in law was told her 3rd child had Downs Syndrome, and he did not...I worked for a OBGYN, tests are not error free..my first born is 41yo and has a child of his own..Love from Georgia

I just wanted to let y'all know that for my oldest son me and my husband went through a similar situation. We went through a week of "the unknown". we were told so much terrifying information, were sent to a fetal medicine specialist, and test after test. He is now 16 (almost 17) and doing absolutely wonderful. We promised ourselves that no matter what we were going to give him the best life possible, and (after a lot of prayers) he was born (at 9lbs 11oz) a very healthy boy. Life sure has a way of hitting us over the head with a 2X4 when we least expect it. I have been smacked over my head enough times to know how difficult this must be for you and Isaac. When you first started talking the look on Isaacs face was like he had been sucker punched. I am thankful you have had a little better news. Praying for this little girl to be okay and for you two to have the strength to power through for her. My first child was a still born. I understand you needing to talk about your situation. I had to talk about my lost and people kept telling me to not to do that. It would make me feel worst. But to me it was helping me through the grief. I went on to have four healthy children in the later years. You and Isaac are in my prayers. Positive thoughts. Care for you two a lot.

Great big hugs! My mom was told she and i would both die if she tried to carry me to term. So much the doctors cant predict but here I am 55 years later (and she lived a long life too btw), God doesn't give you more than you can carry. He has a plan and you just need to lay it at his feet in prayer. Celebrate your moments and a gender reveal is a beautiful moment dont cheat yourself out of each precious milestone worrying about the next one. Jay Lena…1979 I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with Mosaic Turner Syndrome. It was hard when first diagnosed but ultimately she was a blessing and brought alot joy to us all. Please don’t fret.

My ex girlfriend has Turner's syndrome. I am very familiar with this disorder. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all.

I have a friend who has Turner. She lives a regular family life and works as a full time in building engineering. She is smart, funny and compassionate. I was born 10 weeks prematurely and was in neonatal for one year. The doctors told my mom I wouldn’t survive. I’m 44 and 180cm tall. Except for the usual stuff like gravity and regular things I’m doing fine. I do hope and wish the absolutely best for you guys and and your girl. You’re so amazing whatever you go through.

Praying for you both and for your baby! I know how difficult this is. I myself had over 10 of fertility issues. Then I too had a tricky pregnancy with my first born child. Who by the way is about to turn 25 years old. They were my miracle baby! Healthy pregnancy and delivery thoughts and prayers for her.

So sorry you are having to go through this. Let me encourage you. 22 Years ago I also did the genetic testing, with my fourth pregnancy. They gave us the same diagnosis as yours. I stressed and worried the entire pregnancy. When Makayla was born completely fine, I realized I wasted all that time worrying, instead of enjoying my last (or in your case, your first) pregnancy. We can not change what has already been determined. So do not let this news steal your joy. I encourage you to chose joy over fear. With or without the Turners Syndrome, you will have a baby girl. Every child comes with challenges. You will get through this. It's your choice, how you get through it.

One things for sure. Your daughter has amazing "parents in waiting" She will be loved, adored and absolutely treasured xx

So proud of you both! God is able!! I wasn't supposed to have any hope of a normal child as I was a horrible diabetic and didn't know it at the time I conceived. The Doctors all wanted me to abort! Long story short, I went on to have not one but two perfect boys who now are 36 and 40! They both are extremely intelligent (my oldest is in the medical field) and have done very well in life. So please trust God that He has ordained this life and will see you through this very rough time! I was told my sons would be very handicapped both mentally and physically and they were both perfect in every way and in fact very gifted in very way! Just wanted to give you hope!! Proud of you both!!

My heart truly goes out to you both. My wife and I were so excited about our first child. She was born and started growing and then was diagnosed with low functioning autism. I know this isn’t the same but my thoughts about the life she was going to have would be tough just like you are now. She is 20 years old now and she is happy and healthy. Is life hard yes but it can also be wonderful. My thoughts and prayers are with you and will be praying for a good report for your baby girl and peace and strength to you both.

Jaylena pregnancy is a roller coaster. Every pregnancy is a miracle when you look at what it takes out of your body. I was told my babies kidney and heart wasn’t functioning correctly and sent to a specialist. He came out just fine. I knew it was a girl Isaac gave that up the last live. Lol Sending lots of prayers for good health for you and the baby.

Prayers for you three and just know that there’s a reason for whatever happens. My son and daughter-in-law had identical twins that were born very early and we lost one of them at the age of 19 days. The other twin turns 20 this coming June and he has some delays in his learning and then the second pregnancy was a boy as well and he had a bad seizure from a baby shot so he also has learning disabilities. We’ve never had to go through this before in our family but in the end, we thank God for our boys and feel blessed that we were able to have Dustyn for the 19 days that we did before going to heaven. Whatever happens, just know that God doesn’t give you more on your plate than what you can handle.

I love how real he was talking about the baby. He didn't fake positivity he voiced his real feelings. Sounds like all will work out well though.

I also went through 2 high risk pregnancy. My first high risk pregnancy was with my youngest son. He was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate. The ultrasounds that I had done throughout my pregnancy never showed his birth defect. With my sero son. I hemorrhage for the first five months of my pregnancy with him. I refuse to give up and interned my little Lucas. My seco son never gave up either. Both of my boys live a vibrant,healthy and joyful life. What I have learned is I take what the doctors told me with a grain of salt. Only God knows your daughter's future. I will be praying for You,Isaac and your beautiful daughter on a daily basis. Sometimes I think all these tests and such are more of a hindrance than a help. And there have been many times when they have been flat out wrong for one reason or another. What you both need to do is keep positive vibes going strong and don't let negativity anywhere around you. Eat healthy, get lots of rest, love each other and your little "nugget". I'm glad you are getting good medical help. Prayers for your health of you and your baby girl. I was born with a cleft lip and left palate. I had to go through many surgeries and have many doctor appointments. I'm over 60 now. Thank you for educating us on Turner Syndrome.

Oh jaylena my heart hurts for y’all ! Our paths are so similar! With my first daughter she was diagnosed at 12 weeks with an omphalocele all of her organs were growing on the outside of her body. The pregnancy was so stressful and hard. I then developed preeclampsia and after I delivered her I was on a ventilator for 4 days. I almost lost my life that day. My daughter however did pass. I didn’t think I would ever have a baby. But I had to try to bring her into this world and while her life was short it was so meaningful ! I am praying so hard for y’all!! Xoxoxo 💕

Congratulations on having a girl she is a true miracle in her conception and now she shows you on an ultra sound that she looks perfect. I can't imagine what the week has been for the both of you and i wanted to let you know that when you bleed, we bleed, when you laugh or cry we do the same because you are like family to us and we are here even if it is just to listen and offer support. I know it’s extremely difficult to not worry. But like I tell a friend who has to go for after-cancer checkups, don’t worry until there is actually something to worry about. Also I know of someone that had an amino & was told there was a chance the baby had something bad. But the baby girl was born perfectly healthy.

Do not stress! My daughter has Turners syndrome. She is a beautiful woman leading a full life. As we speak she is over seas teaching young children children English. She is such a free spirit.

Doctors told me with all four of my children that each one would be born with certain issues and problems but by the grace of GOD, each was born healthy and Perfect..
