Pitbulls are naturally loving and protective in nature. They dont know any better unless they are taught otherwise. It sucks they have the stigma they do because of their loyalty and ability to cause harm when you threaten someone they are loyal to (even if that person is the worst).

Our dogs are wherever we are...bed, couch, etc. they are pack animals and need to physically touch the other members of the pack. Our Basset rescue lies next to me with his paw gently on my leg. He is my bed buddy...I am disabled, in chronic pain and often in bed. Our Boxer has been incredibly gentle with me since he was a puppy. We often receive compliments on his gentle and sweet our dogs are from our vets and total strangers. I do work with them to be gentle but I also believe the physical contact makes a huge difference. Canines are truly amazing.

My Dog Dixie passed a few months ago, she was thirteen years old a shepherd mix rescue that looks almost exactly as Ryder. We used to joke saying that she had a bit of wolf or coyote in her blood. The smartest, bravest and most loving dog I ever had. I miss her so much.

When I lived in San Diego, CA I took my granddaughters up to Julian to see the wolf sanctuary and the town. The site gave all visitors wonderful info re the wolves. We really came away with such admiration for the caretakers and their wolves. Your Pibbles are gorgeous. Pibbles have a great piece of my heart. Ride on Ryder 🐕🐕🐕

My dog had the same thing when he was a puppy.He wouldn't eat,drink or anything we took him to the vet they said he had parvo we took him back home he couldn't go around our other dogs we had.We gave him his shots and he was all better after that he was eating,drinking and playing with our other dog.it's been 4 years since then now he's living a happy life with our new puppies.

To all the selfless, loving, patient, most wonderful human beings..... thank you 🕊 with all my heart. I do understand how much time and money and emotional love that goes into caring for an animal.... to all you unsung heroes.... Mahalo. When I was from 4-8 years old,I could be found , on the floor lying inside the belly of 2 greyhounds , as they wrapped their legs around me to keep me warm. I trust animals. 🐾

most are shy & timid def not guard dogs .. ppl think wolves are mean or whatever & that’s the case i’ve owned a few grey wolves 🐺 not really any dif frm any other dog i’ve owned esp if u get as a pup ... they are actually really good tempered etc

It is a tragedy to breed wolf dogs for the sheer fact that you cannot predict if they are going to be more wolf or a dog in their temperament. Too many are put down because they can't be released into the wild and they too unpredictable to be among people. People breed them for bragging rights and to boost their own egos, these are the same type of people who try to have tigers, lions, cougars etc. as pets.

@Lara O I've heard of wolfdogs who live in a wolf pack out in the wild. So that must mean that a wolf and a dog met and mated, but how would that dog even end up there?

I rescued 3 wolf/German shepherd pups... years and years ago... back when Forestry was rehabbing and releasing high content wolves ... only one adjusted to my household... Moose... the other 2, I gave to the release program...I'm happy to say Nikki and Spirit did well and were successfully released to Yellowstone ... Moose had been injured and couldn't go.... we live on some acreage in the mountains, backed up to Forestry land... plenty of room to safely roam... Moose did well and lived to be 18 years old, when cancer took him away...He loved me, and was only rarely away from me... it was the most incredible bond, between us... I was totally Blessed!

Love this video. Ryder is beautiful. I have a one year old Norwegian Elk Hound named Mojo. He is absolutely the sweetest dog I've ever owned. He sleeps with me every night and wakes me up with cuddles and kisses. Animals make the best humans. They just give unconditional love. Just give Mojo a five minute belly rub and he is good to go.🐶

Wow, they live in Cottonwood! That's around a 15 minute drive from my town, Red Bluff! And wow, she had parvo. My puppy didn't even last a week after getting it. Glad she survived.
