This is truth. I love birds, but the babies can boarder on horrifying lol I video'd a nest on my porch last year. When they're somehow "your own" they're automatically cuter ❤️
When I was a kid and our cat had kittens, they would fuss and mew like baby kitties do. Smokey, our African Grey parrot, would say, "What you doin'? You crying, baby? Calm down, calm down" then she'd make a fart noise and laugh. Smokey was almost ninety and had been in many homes; we think that she learned it from a family with little children.

His eyes are OPEN and really growing fast. I can't wait until he reacts with mom and dad. I look forward to each video to see his progress. Sweet family!!!
I'm just gonna assume and say it's because they come out of eggs. With mammals they have a much closer connection to their babies because they come directly out of them but with birds they emerge from something separate of the mother. That's just my theory though.
@adrianpaul1985 😅 that makes a lot of sense. Can you imagine having pooped a giant hard rock only for a pink hairless thing to emerge after you sit on it for a while??
I think there Hass to be some instinct involved because they don’t immediately kick the “rock “out of their nest like they might a regular rock. Something tells them to stay on it
Sometimes I look at my 16 month old like "who are you?" 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 (she's got 4 teeth coming in at once, and she's biting/eating everything... and I do mean EV-A-RY-THING!!!)
I am soooo curious to see who he looks more like 😊 also.. are we sure it’s a boy? I know with eggs you can make them what you want them to be by temp with reptiles 🤷🏻♀️
Whatchu doin’ big Grammy!?! Ooo-Ooo😅… I love them all so much. ❤ baby is trying to communicate something! Love how Tinkerbell and Beaker are so interested
I was wondering how the baby raising would work, I know pet birds don’t necessarily have those skills but I thought they might get stressed by humans taking the lead. But they have such great trust built with their people & know they are one big family ❤❤❤
❤Awww they looked at each other in parental confusion when the baby wouldn't stop crying. Love how Beaker and Tinker are still interested in the baby. Bay-Bell is growing fast.
@leannekatterheinrich-crist2189 Beaker called the baby that...we still are not certain of the name..I was thinking SQUEAKER BEAK would be a good name..but Beaker said "Baybell several times "
@@leannekatterheinrich-crist2189 Hope the chick is a "she" then! If so, no objections here. I mean... how many other birds know how to name their kids?
He's looking so good and healthy! I'm so happy for Beaker and Tink and their mama. You've done an amazing job bringing this rainbow baby this far 💜 And thank you so much for sharing this journey with us all.
The very young will also "fuss" to work their vocals, and because they're adjusting to processing more of their environment. In humans, it's called the PURPLE Period of crying. Sometimes, babies just cry, and there's nothing that needs to be done for them, so you just gotta hang out and let them grump.
@norka5185 aww I remember that with my baby Andy. I would rock him in the chair while he would scream. Of course at the time it was very, very hard because it always happened for like 3 to 4 hours at night and I had no idea what to do besides rock or take a breather outside with my screaming baby and that kinda worked, but now it's nice to laugh and look back. Miss it.
It’s so funny how they both stare at the baby like what is wrong with him & then look at each other like, why is he making that noise…what should we do? Hahahahaha 🤣🤣🤣 And when he stops, they both come close & say… oh!!! 😆😆😆
They arent dumb. They would have taken care of it, but the humans doing it to introduce human touch at a young age and baby has a full belly currently why would they now? My parents bred and raised Ringnecks my whole life, babies always came out of the nest with a full belly from mum. This one's crying cus its scared, but baby birds get scared of everything, even their own shadow. @allthingsdelightful8565
THIS! I don't have parrots, but I have had chickens for a long time. The process of feathering up after a molt is painful for them, and it does make them grumpy. I can imagine something similar is going on here with precious Baybell.
This made my entire day! Look @ those lovely little faces of concern from mum and dad! Baby is growing. I had bad news, and this just renewed my hope in life! Thanks for sharing. ❤😊🦜🦜🐣🥰🙌🫶
praying for Better News for you, from God above and this Beaker Family Lover. They make me smile, laugh and feel better, when I had some very bad news last year. Feel Better.
@GGiblet Thanks very much. I am open to prayers. You're very kind. When you get sick, sometimes people disappear . God bless. The support has been lovely. On we go! 🥰🙌🫶
🤗🤗🤗 beaker got the baby to stop crying! He has that effect 😂❤😂 i can't wait for the baby to start walking, talking, and giving kisses. He/she is going to teach tink & beaker new things ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Bay Bell (growing pains) stops crying and Mommy gets closer to have a better look. Yes Bay Bell's alright. Bay Bell's eyes are fully opened & Bay Bell's beak is getting it's color & the wings will soon shoot out baby down and pin feathers will be next 🙆♀️ 🐤 grow Bay Bell, grow 😊 Mommy & Daddy want to play with you❣🥰 Thank you for sharing Bay Bell's precious growth videos with all of us 🙆♀️❣ God bless your little birdy family 🙏🥰❣
Thankyou so much for sharing the Baby's progression 🥰...Can I see a little grey feathers on the wings? Wouldn't it be lovely if he/she were a mixture of both parents colours 🥰
Oh how sweet, Daddy enquiring why "Big Grammy" isn't stopping the noise from Baybell... Tink is hilarious , sashaying her way over & getting up on her toe's for a better look after the noise has stopped 😅😅 But Baybell is OK, he just want's to be held, touched or picked up like all baby's... They are so sweet & caring in their own way, the little man is going to get lots of love from his adoring family ❤❤❤
@@tracymessina5280yes thats my question too 🤔 In the wild wouldnt they be feeding the young one and providing bodily warmth. Not attacking ,just asking if thats how its working here or is it different
@@sadia2395 they parents would be nesting with the baby to keep warm and regurgitating food into it's mouth. But they already had a rainbow baby so I think Grammy is taking extra care and precautions to make sure the baby thrives. Tinkerbell is a new mama and we all need help from Grammy when we new mamas. I just love how he went from calling his human mama to Grammy. It's like how he know she be grandma to her feather babies.
As soon as mamma stepped forward the bahbee stopped crying. Baby was needing mamma is all. Which makes sense. Obvs. Beautiful and gorgeous all round. Love it ❤💜♥️💜♥️💯
@@Michealwonderfulbaby probably don't even know it's mom and dad coz baby is not allowed to bond or keep warm. Other birds have feathers and owners have clothes but this poor baby is kept naked as a jailbird. 😢. Give me my mom's. Tinkerbell and Beaker are becoming distressed.😢😊
@@sharonouellette4546 what? I thought that was tink and beaker were the parents!? How and why can they not make contact? I'm pretty sure that there are heat bulbs that can keep the lil one warm and comfy? That is what I'd expect...
@@Michealwonderfulcorrect the chick has to be kept in a brooder until it has enough plumage to regulate it’s own temperature. Human probably has the chick out for a feeding or to make sure the adult birds have enough contact to remain acclimated to it’s presence.
Bless your heart Big Grammy. You are an amazing caretaker for the little bird family. It is so cute how they look at you to fix the situation. Love starting my day with Big Grammy, Beaker, Tinkerbell and Baybell.💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚💛💚
@@AdamantLightLPshe and so many really just are that clueless. The whining toward poor Tinkerbell & poor humans doesn’t get better, it’s gotten far nastier after Chick hatched. Thank you! I’m glad folks keep helping out & informing others 😊
The cold glass bowl could be what is causing most of it's distress. It isn't even a fledgling (still featherless) and hence needs a warm nest like place to sit in. A few soft toys in a cold glass bowl just doesn't cut it.
Hahaha, they look like they have no idea what to do! :D Poor Beaker looks like Tink's been "grooming" him again, lol. He will be bald soon! Much love xoxo
"Your son is crying" "MY son ? He's your son too !" "Yeah, well someone has to do something." "And why should it always be m... oh, wait... We're fine, he stopted"
